We booked four nights at the property. Three in a “Heritage Villa With Private Pool” and one with cruise on a boat house. Initially we were lodged in villa nr. 114 and after the cruise & overnight stay on the boat house we moved to villa nr. 108 for the rest of our stay. The shower and the toilet in the villas are located outside, near the private pool. Initially a bit weird, it turned out to be rather funny as well as quite comfortable. The time we spent at the property and during the cruise was indeed memorable. Great staff, great accommodation with plenty of space and comfort, great food, great experience with the Ayurvedic treatments at the SPA. Our cruise was nothing short of awesome too. Just us two and a crew of three, including a private chef who in the on-board kitchen wizardly prepared lunch and dinner à-la-minute. All in all simply excellent. A little side note: in the park there is a large amount of crows which are active round the clock. Usually at dusk the staff shoots few shots to scare them away. We found this to be disruptive of the peace that otherwise characterizes the resort, and we hope different means can be found, as the crows are unfortunately back quite quickly after these bangs.

One of the cleanest resorts I have come across and well maintained.The gardens are well ***icured.The rooms are absolutely clean. The food is amazing .Very courteous staff. The sunset cruise is funtastic !The musicians playing the tabla and the flute synchronise so well and their perfor***ce takes you through the sunset on the back waters.Its just beautiful! We loved our stay at the resort .

The property, imbued with heritage elements, beautifully preserves Kerala's legacy. It boasts exceptional pools and a unique, open-top cruise experience. The highlight, however, is the outstanding hospitality provided by the staff. They were extremely courteous and attentive, enhancing our vacation with their pampering care. I would like to specifically commend Anju from the welcome desk and Jobika from the restaurant for their friendly interactions, which our children greatly enjoyed.

Wonderful, relaxing, calming escape. From the moment we arrived we didn’t want to leave. Already plotting my next visit. Food is exceptional and the breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. The ducks, the rabbits and the goose were a delightful surprise too! Special shout-out to Devika and Arathy who went above and beyond to make our time at KLR truly superb!

It was awesome experience to Stay at KLR. And special thanks to Mr. Kavi the most friendly guy at the resort. Will come back soon with family members. Food was awesome, sunset cruise was breathtaking and feels like living in a village. Thanks.

Kumarakom Lake Resort is one of the 5 star Resort in Kumarakom. It is situated on a wonderful location adjoining Lake Vembanad. The rooms are heritage but with modern amenities. The staff is admirably helpful. Breakfast buffet is well spread both from Indian and continental varieties. Plenty of activities starting from pottery to speedboat to keep yourself active. Sunset watch is must in the open boat. Dinner with very elaborate menu both multi cuisine and seafood Restaurant with India classical live music- place has plenty to keep warm and busy!!

Been going to this property for years now , simply some of the best authentic local food ( the meen polichattu is a must try ) , a great ambience and an impeccable and unmatched spa experience make for a great getaway . Personally, My go to Kerala getaway .

The most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed in. Luxury rooms in a picture perfect setting. The resort is incredibly well thought out with high quality amenities. The food at breakfast and dinner was prepared to a high standard and staff go above and beyond to meet your needs. Staff are incredible attentive and personable and are the main reason this hotel is deserving of its 5 star rating. We will definitely be staying here again on our future trips to Kerala and hope to bring our extended family next time.
