Aloka Resort

A beautifully clean and comfortable hotel in a great location near the incredible township of Vashisht (a short walk away). You can access Manali/Old Manali easily by tuk-tuk or taxi. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and it was a pleasure to celebrate Diwali with them. I highly recommend this hotel for its location, the stunning views, great food and hospitality. The jacuzzi just added another level!

I stayed at Aloka Resort in Vashisht during my solo trip to Manali, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The resort is beautifully located amidst apple orchards with panoramic views of the Beas Valley and the surrounding snowy mountains — a perfect escape for peace and reflection. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home thanks to the amazing team at the resort. • Rohit at the front office was incredibly welcoming and always ready to help • Dimpal from housekeeping kept my room spotless every day and added thoughtful touches that made my stay extra comfortable. • Vijay from food and beverage made sure every meal was delicious and fresh — I especially enjoyed the Greek salad I had several days • And a special thanks to Dolma, the operational manager, who runs the place with such warmth and professionalism. Her friendly presence and attention to detail made the whole atmosphere so positive and personal. The room itself was spacious, clean, and cozy, with a balcony overlooking the stunning Himalayas — perfect for watching the sunrise or simply relaxing with a book. The location is ideal, close to Vashisht Temple, the hot springs, and only a short drive to Old Manali and Solang Valley. The resort offers a beautiful pool which unfortunately, due to the cold weather I couldn’t use. As a solo traveler, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience — safe, peaceful, and genuinely welcoming. Aloka Resort is not just a place to stay; it’s a place that feels like home, thanks to the wonderful people who make it so special.

Lovely stay in a quiet location. The staff, especially in the restaurant were welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. Our room and en suite were spacious with good views of the mountains. Room had heating which worked well.

Excellent stay. 5 star in all respects. Excellent hospitality. Special thanks to Vijay .Manoj and Mohit also requires a special mention for going extra mile to make our stay absolute delight. Highly recommended. Looking forward for our next visit.

Good property, excellent staff. Clean and tidy rooms, good room service. Food was good. The staff helped us in booking sight seeing tours. The hotel’s owner is also very polite and helpful. Loved our stay and enjoyed bonfire. Would definitely recommend for a good stay in Manali.

"I had a truly delightful and relaxing stay at Aloka from 2024 November 14th to 19th. The staff were exceptionally courteous and warm, catering to my every need. The hotel's location is convenient, with Mall Road just a 7-minute drive away (or 30 minutes on foot). Old Manali is also within easy reach, just a 14-minute drive. The surroundings are peaceful and serene, making for a divine atmosphere. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make my wife's birthday special, surprising us with a freshly baked cake in our room. Ample parking space was a bonus, especially since I was driving my Mahindra Thar. The chef's culinary skills are exceptional, serving up finger-licking good food whether it's Indian, Continental, or Chinese. I thoroughly enjoyed the breathtaking view from my balcony and the in-room Jacuzzi's various features made my stay even more relaxing. I highly recommend Aloka to anyone considering a visit - book without hesitation! One area for improvement: expanding the breakfast options. Kudos to the Aloka team, and I wish them all the best!"
