Thanya Hotel은 모든면에서 완벽합니다. 방갈로는 모두 바다가 보이는 방향입니다. 호텔에는 자체 호수가 있으며 모니터 도마뱀이 살고 있습니다. 큰부리새가 온다 그리고 호텔에는 아름다운 꽃밭이 있습니다. 호텔의 유일한 단점은 조식입니다. 이렇게 큰 호텔에서 오믈렛을 튀기는 사람은 단 한 명뿐이다. 그래서 더 일찍 일어나는 것이 좋다

풍경이 아름답고 바닷가에 있는 독립된 목조 주택에 살고 있지만 방의 시설은 매우 기본적이며 위생 상태는 보통 수준입니다. 낮에는 집안이 너무 더워서 에어컨을 틀어도 완전히 식혀지지 않더군요. 전용 해변과 수영장이 있고 수영장은 깨끗하지 않지만 아이들이 재미있게 놀았습니다. 가장 놀라운 점은 호텔 전용 해변에서 스노클링을 할 수 있다는 점인데, 매우 재미있습니다. 호텔이나 옆 호텔에서만 식사를 할 수 있으며 선택의 폭이 적고 맛은 평균입니다. 전체적으로 경치를 보면 가격만큼의 가치가 있지만, 시설을 보면 가격이 어울리지 않습니다.

我們到的時候人非常少。房間很大，坐擁沙灘，可以浮潛。晚餐在酒店餐廳吃的，菜單沒有照片，有些偏差，跟想象的。味道還可以。價格可以接受。

非常適宜度假的酒店，住得很舒服，酒店門口的海很漂亮。就是早餐品種少了點。

The resort is at the end of the beach and has a large beach at low tide, the sea comes right up to the wall at high tide. They’ve done a great job with deck chairs and sun loungers under trees and there are hammocks, it is very relaxing. The resort probably was once really beautiful - you could describe it as rustic now. It needs some TLC. The showers by the pool are weak and the heads need a good clean, paths are broken up and the resort needs a general clean and attention to the finer details and finishes. For example, there was litter wedged in flower beds and behind the huts. There is a large pond in the middle with monitor lizards in which was really cool. The huts themselves were really basic - they boil during the day so the a/c takes a while to cool them down. Uncomfortable chairs on your patio and the wood in the hut is uneven and moves when you walk. The bathroom was huge but had barely anything in it - the drying rack for towels was tiny and there were no hooks on the walls. Curtains only just covered the windows so light trickles in and I am a light sleeper! The pool is hot, which was strange. The restaurant serves amazing food but they need to invest in some fans as it was boiling in there - you just want to eat and go. Staff were friendly and food from menu at lunch and dinner really lovely, breakfast a bit basic. You can hire kayaks but beware of the current (and wind can pick up). Had a massage there but wouldn’t recommend it - they didn’t seem as happy and friendly as elsewhere and the massage was not at all relaxing - I’ve had plenty and this was one of the worst.

We stayed 3 nights at Thanya Resort. Very sweet and helpful personel both at the reception and restaurant. But their terms for doing a great job was a bit overruled by the very tired facilities around them. Furthermore a huge junkyard was to be found if you move just a bit up the pass through the jungle. Hotel deserves 2 stars - not the 4 they have. A bit disappointed. Fotos do a lot.

Spacious bungalows even with 3 people as our daughter stayed with us. Quite dated, efficient air con and basic shower. Quiet, with nature around and even many monitor lizards in their mini lake. Breakfast ok, nice egg station where you can order your favourite. Nice bar on the beach side and really good massage in the hotel. Too few sun chairs but the advantage of being on the beach. A nice stay, very helpful staff at the reception who organised transfer and helped us find our way around.

First of all the staff are fantastic, all very helpful and polite. They are a highlight here. The restaurant is fine and isn’t terribly different from anything else on the island. The small sundries shop is convenient but the one at the Maya resort is larger and marginally cheaper. As for the rooms, they are good. The hillside sea view rooms are quieter and most private and have the best views though definitely not suitable for children or those with mobility limitations. They are kept spotless and the shaded deck is wonderful. What I didn’t like is that, while I’m sure they were clean and sanitized, the towels and sheets had stains. Management should know better that these are definite turnoffs and such things should be disposed of. The toilet in my room also needed to be replaced. While perfectly functional, it showed more wear and tear than I would have liked. Beautiful beach and easy access to the coral reef. When the place is fully booked there is a bit of a scramble for beach chairs. I’d probably come back.

We stayed there for six days and easily could stayed longer. The resort is nice, staff is super friendly and helpful, service was excellent and food was good. They also have very big portions. Rooms were quite big and clean, bed was comfortable. There is everything you need. Place is beautiful specially in the evening. Only minor downside was that there were many children, so the pool and sunbed area wasn't guiet and peaceful. Some sunbeds were occupied before the breakfast was over and not been used for hours.

Attentive staff, very clean rooms, lovely massage ladies nearby. Restaurant had nice food, local dive school were helpful but we didn't have enough time to go diving, quiet beach, the only thing negative was the pool looked cloudy with algae at the bottom so we didn't use it. Others did.

Stayed for 3 nights with family in December and found the Thanya and Koh Ngai to be everything we hoped for and more. The island is stunning - this is proper paradise off the beaten track and away from the masses. The beach is breathtaking with clear blue waters and a thriving reef right outside the hotel. The accommodation is really basic and this is where the Thanya loses a star because we found it really difficult to sleep as a result. Every single noise outside from nature to other guests sounds like it is in your room. We were woken 2-3 times every night unfortunately. Then as soon as the sun starts to rise the room is bathed in sunlight. Beyond that though the Thanya is charming. The pool is great, the staff are lovely, the breakfast is perfectly adequate. We will be back and we will stay for longer (we’ll just bring ear plugs and eye masks next time).

Having seen the previous review before travelled I wanted to reassure any future visitors… this place is paradise. I went with lowish expectations at a high season price but knew that Koh Ngai was worth the risk having passed by in 2006 returning from Koh Mook. I am so glad we ventured back and took our teenage kids! We are now in Koh Lanta wishing we had stayed longer! Rooms are simple, a little dated, but are clean and have everything you need including aircon and more importantly views to die for and traditional Thai bungalow style. Beds are hard, and you are virtually sleeping in nature so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper as the birds and insect dawn chorus got a few choice words from the teenagers. Views are to die for as is the resort. Ignore the previous review about the dirty pool… it’s a natural stone finish which blends perfectly with its surroundings and is cleaned daily at dawn. The beach and sea… well having travelled around most of Thailand I confirm that they are is unbeatable. Do not go to Koh Lanta or Krabi and not venture down to the Trang islands… they are unmissable. Restaurant food pretty good. Breakfast simple but excellent panckaes and omelette station and decent coffee. Chom View restaurant best food on the island and BMH for cocktails as the sunsets behind you on the other side of the island were excellent. Yes everything is a little more pricey however drinks no more expensive than Koh Lanta.
