Fab hotel. Very well presented and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Lovely atmosphere and the room was beautiful. Very central.

We stay here every year for a conference in February (apologies for my late review) and it is one of our favourite hotels. Smaller and with more personality than the bigger hotels, excellent customer service, gorgeous beds, great showers, superb breakfasts and THE best customer service in Killarney. Special shout out to John the night porter and Joanne (i think) who looked after me with a take away breakfast when we had to leave early. As a hotel you should be proud of the jobs all the staff do, there is such a lovely atmosphere here because of them but clearly it comes from the top and management play their part too. See you next year......

The staff at royal hotel in Killarney Is outstanding! Welcome crew of Veronica at check in To Joann at breakfast and the greet of John at nighttime makes this the place to stay. Joe Scally the owner was so personable .This place is a true gem!!

This hotel is exemplary. The hotel room was spotless and the breakfast was superb! Their attention to detail and clear customer consideration ranks them as one of the nicest hotels where we have stayed. The staff was friendly and attentive. Very highly recommend.

The service in the Royal Killarney is excellent- very professional, helpful and friendly. The food was superb across 3 breakfasts, dinner in the Bistro and dinner in the Candle Room. The homemade Guinness Bread is just so delicious. All the staff were very welcoming and charming. Joanne in particular, was a wee gem at breakfast time, full of local knowledge and helpful tips for our time in Killarney. The hotel is very central, 5 mins to the train station and right in the town centre. We’ll be back!

Went with my mum for two nights. Great experience from start to finish. Arrived early room we were upgraded and room was ready. Booked evening dinner and they could not be more helpful. Excellent location not too far for my mum to walk. Will not hesitate to go again.

From the moment of arrival we were given a heartfelt 'welcome home' by Mike who took care of us and our luggage. The lovely lady at check-in gave us a free room upgrade. Everything about this hotel was exceptional. The bedroom was well presented, spacious and at the right temperature, the bed was comfortable. The ensuite bathroom had a lovely bath and shower and was well equiped. We were offered complimentary drinks on arrival. We had drinks in both the beautiful foyer and lounge. Breakfast was the best we've had in a long time - served piping hot with a generous helping of a wide variety of foods. The waitress was excellent. When we got home, we received a call to ask if we had left an item in the room. Veronica was very helpful and offered to return the item by post. We can't give enough praise to this hotel. It was perfectly located in the town and was excellent value for this standard of hotel. We will definitely return shortly and stay for an extra night.

We stayed in room 105 , what an absolutely beautiful room ,luxury at its best . The killarney Royal is a fabulous hotel with such friendly helpful staff from reception to rooms to bar and restaurant. Michael is there years and John and they make you feel so welcome and love to chat . Food gorgeous and lovely menu and reception area is just great with comfy chairs and sofas just to sit and have a coffee. I love returning there for a stay because you are greeted so warmly by reception staff its great. I would highly recommend the killarney Royal Hotel for fabulous rooms and great food and staff and so central.
