"We had a great week at Sami Beach and will definitely return in a couple of years as still lots of Kefalonia to see, Sami makes a great base for this. As other reviews have said, staff are excellent, very clean everywhere, breakfast good, rooms a decent size, large car park, good pool and beach with loungers, views to die for all round. Sami is a lovely town and we had some great meals out then a lovely walk back along the sea front. One negative for us was that the balconies are very small with no privacy and we were unlucky to have smokers and vapers next door which stopped us from enjoying sitting out a lot of the time. Not sure what can be done other than having one floor smoke free perhaps? All in all a lovely place for a holiday and see you in a couple of years we hope. Barry and Debbie"

In addition to the room, the owners lent us beach equipment so we could enjoy the beaches of the island to the fullest. The rooms were cleaned daily and the information we received was very useful as we would not have discovered the most beautiful parts of the island on our own. "If you are after nightlife this is not the hotel for you. It is in a very quiet area of the island . The rooms are spacious with plenty of storage and a seating area as well as a large patio with table and chairs, two comfortable sun beds and a plunge pool. Staff work hard to ensure you have a good stay and are very helpful. The breakfast is a buffet but omelettes and different styles of egg can be ordered freshly made. The half board evening meal is three buffet starters and a couple of salads which were all nice. Main course is a choice of four, I don’t eat meat but managed to choose something every night apart from one when I chose from the veggie menu. Dessert is a choice of three. It would have been nice to have ice cream as a choice occasionally. Portions were generous and tasty. Overall , a lovely relaxing week. The 70m pool is amazing and there are plenty of sun beds and Bali beds. We didn’t hire a car as we were happy to potter about and go down to the nearby beach and stay by the pool. Diana at the front desk sorted a coach tour of the island for us with one of the local firms. As with most Greek hotels there are some cats in the grounds, it is not overrun by any means but they do potter about sometimes. Staff are kind to the cats and gently shoo them away if they venture into a public area. We love cats so this wasn’t an issue for us."

"Hotel is positioned on a beautiful part of the island. The grounds are lush and pool is great. We loved everything here as far as the environment, views, amenities and our room, but the service was quite poor specially with the front desk. Our room was directly by the pool, and two nights in a row live music was playing at the pool restaurant until 11pm, which is great if you are there enjoying it, but not when you have a small child and trying to put them to bed. The next day when I told the front desk member that the music was very loud in our room and we were unable to sleep he just said yes we can play music until 11. When I pushed further and asked if we could be moved the answer was no. And that was that. I was stunned at this terrible customer service. I appreciate the hotel was fully booked but a simple gesture, an apology or sympathy would have gone a long way."

"객실은 기본입니다. 수영장 / 수영장 바는 훌륭하고 음식은 사랑 스럽습니다! 전망은 훌륭하고 일광욕용 라운저도 훌륭합니다. 수영장 옆에 많은 방이 있으며 붐비지 않은 직원은 매우 친절하고 매우 환영합니다! 객실은 격일로 청소됩니다. 언덕은 내려가는 것이 훌륭하고 돌아오는 데 7유로가 드는 택시 승강장이 있습니다! lassi 전역의 놀라운 레스토랑은 나쁜 식사를 한 적이 없습니다. 집사는 일몰을보기 위해 뒤쪽 근처의 개인 추천 사전 책입니다. 🌇 argostoli로 택시를 타는 것도 편도 € 10를 추천하고 광장을 산책하면 실망하지 않을 것입니다. 더 일찍 b4 10 항구는 로거헤드 거북이를 엿보는 사람들로 바쁩니다. assos와 fiskardo 및 동굴로의 여행도 1인당 약 €40로 권장됩니다! 첫 번째 방문자는 확실히 돌아올 것입니다. 이것이 도움이되기를 바랍니다1"

"My wife and I have just returned from a extremely enjoyable relaxing week's stay at the fabulous GreKa Ionian Suites. When we arrived we were greeted very warmly by the lovely Afroditi, who then spent an appreciable time illustrating on a map local restaurants and bakeries etc. In order not to repeat the same comments from previous reviews, we wholeheartedly agree with the great positive reviews from previous contributors about the GreKa Ionian property, Afroditi and Agia Efimia. Standards have most certainly been maintained and our apartment (The Kefalonia) was beautifully, clean and also spacious. From the Easterly balcony we had great views of the village, the harbour and further out to sea and the second balcony had a view of the sea and some of the pool. After eating out for our evening meal, we then thoroughly enjoyed sitting on our balcony watching the harbour area activity with the all the lights from tavernas etc reflecting on the water. whilst eating some of the delicious desserts or pastries from one of the bakery/patisseries. Afroditi has obviously spent a significant amount of money, on maintaining and updating for the property. One example is the addition of a lot of lovely effective decorative pebble type stones to the pool boundary wall, (and other areas) incorporating all manner of coloured ocean related pictures. One full wall of the property to the side of the pool also completely redone with thousands of the pebble stones stuck into the mortar. The whole pool area is a lovely place to be and with the bonus of more lovely new sunbeds added again this year. Like others have said, many times we the only ones at the pool, but when that was not the case it was nice to chat to the other guests. Afroditi is such a warm, kind, caring, thoughtful, generous and welcoming person, with a good sense of humour and she made such a big difference to our stay at her lovely apartments. One last mention is to the lovely cleaning lady who always greeted us with a big smile. Very much hope to be back here again Andy & Chris "

"We had the same experiences a lot of other people with the hotel not actually being ready yet. We managed to get a refund from travelodeal, it wasn’t easy but we did and kept our flights. We are now in Kefalonia at a different resort so yesterday we decided to investigate for ourselves. We started to enter the unfinished grounds which are easily accessible but must be surrounded by CCTV as we were soo accosted by the owners and site security. After explaining to the the issue with ourselves and many others they were keen to show us the issue they had and it was a problem with getting the water supply in and the utility contractors making a mess of it. They then offered to take us round the complex and to be quite honest we were taken aback with the beauty of it and attention to detail. The rooms are beautiful and the views from your bed ( yes the beds are in and waiting ) over the ocean are mind blowing. The water supply is now resolved and they are planning on opening in April/ may next year. It will definitely be worth the wait and the owners are desperate for some good feedback after all their issues. I do think a lot of responsibility lies with the lack of honesty from the tour operators."

"2011년 이후 6번째 방문 - 지난번 이후 3년 - 왜 그렇게 오래 떠나셨습니까? 일주일 또는 이틀 동안 긴장을 풀기에 완벽한 장소입니다. 우리는 만을 가로질러 Ithaca까지 완벽한 전망을 가진 같은 방을 가지고 있었고(모든 객실은 같은 방식으로 보입니다) 어느 날 아침 일출을 볼 수 있을 만큼 일찍 일어날 수 있었습니다. -) 우리는 전에나 그 이후로 이렇게 편안한 호텔에 묵은 적이 없습니다. 직원들은 그 어느 때보 다 유쾌합니다. Natalie를 다시 보는 것이 사랑스럽고 Stefanie를 알게되어 좋습니다. 아침 식사는 매우 맛있고 모두 갓 조리된 선택의 폭이 넓습니다. 새로운 젊은 요리사는 훌륭한 저녁 식사를 제공했습니다. 트위스트가 있는 그리스어! 평소와 같이 우리는 렌트카를 가지고 있었기 때문에 (공항에서 불과 1 시간) Fiskardo / Assos 등의 평소 유적지를 방문했습니다. 아침 식사 전에 바위에서 수영하는 것도 좋습니다! 수영장은 휘파람처럼 깨끗하게 유지되며 새들은 그곳에서 마시는 것을 좋아합니다. 그것이 얼마나 깨끗한지. 우리는 Catherine과 Gerry(Katerina와 Gerasimos)로부터 평소에 따뜻한 환영을 받았고 Gerry 부인(Katerina)뿐만 아니라 둘 다 사랑스러운 대화를 나습니다. 그들은 우리에게 대가족과 같습니다. 다음 방문까지 기다릴 수 없습니다 :-)"

"The hotel has a great location, not far from the beach, and plenty of restaurants nearby. There's a small supermarket to the right of the hotel entrance where you can buy yogurt and other similar items. Behind the hotel is a commercial street where you can shop, but the shop owners are quite casual, and some close very early. The room has a small balcony, not too big or too small. The only drawback is the poorly designed bathroom; the shower is too small, and the toilet paper isn't even next to the toilet! You can arrange airport or ferry pick-up through the hotel on Ctrip, but this will incur an additional fee."

"전반적으로 정말 마음에 드는 곳이었어요. 객실은 넓고 깨끗하고 쾌적했으며, 수영장도 환상적이었습니다. 11일 동안 머물렀는데, 같은 식사가 계속 나오는 건 조금 질리기도 했어요. 한 가지 아쉬운 점은 테라스 청소는 특별히 요청해야만 했다는 거예요. 요청하지 않으면 청소를 해주지 않았습니다. 또한, 매일 새 수영장 타월을 객실에 가져다 놓으면 더 좋았을 텐데, 사용한 타월을 리셉션에 가져다 놓고 직접 교체해야 했습니다. 직원들은 모두 친절했지만, 한 명은 예외였어요. 아침 식사 시간에 오믈렛 주문을 받는 여직원은 매우 무례하고 비전문적이었습니다. 불쌍한 파나기오티스에게 계속 소리를 지르고 명령조로 대하는 태도를 보였어요. 그녀는 분명히 그 일에 적합하지 않았고, 그녀의 행동은 전반적으로 친절했던 분위기에 부정적인 인상을 남겼습니다. 마지막으로 여행객들을 위한 팁을 드리자면, 저를 포함한 몇몇 투숙객들이 말벌에 물렸습니다. 호텔 잘못은 아니지만, 그리스에는 말벌이 밤낮으로 어디에나 있으니 대비하는 게 좋을 것 같아요. 이러한 사소한 문제점들에도 불구하고, 아름다운 객실, 멋진 수영장, 그리고 전반적으로 쾌적한 분위기 덕분에 이곳을 여전히 추천합니다."
