"Checked a couple of hotels in Kasaragod for a work related trip and saw that a lot of these were on extremes - either really high end or not-so-good. Fortview offered the best experience that was beyond the price, I believe. Neat and clean rooms and washrooms, with all supplies required and quality assistance by the staff from check-in, throughout the stay until check-out. Quite a good catch at this rate! Some of our colleagues had previously stayed there and mentioned about the comfortable beds and I must agree with this. Overall, the rooms were really comfortable. The complimentary breakfast spread was good - consisting of Western basics (toast, made-to-order eggs, juice, fruits, etc.) and a couple of Kerala traditional breakfast dishes ***** with tea and coffee. The hotel itself is 10-15 minutes away, by car/auto from the railway station and is on the 2nd floor of a shopping-complex kind of building. The staff were really helpful throughout the visits, making sure our food orders came on time and recommended places. The security guy was also really helpful in helping us secure autos for local travel and the staff also recommended good local eateries for us during the stay. Overall this was a really good stay!
