Hotel Das Falkenstein

Me and my husband were there for day in spa and pool. First, they have two pools - one inside with cold water and one outside which is actually lake. Sauna didn't work, jacuzzi didn't work too. We were there about 20 minutes. When we changed our minds and wanted to leave, we didn't get our money back. The point is, you pay and you get two cold pools, sauna and jacuzzi that didn't work, and very very rude stuff, especially a girl on reception! Horrible experience!

Excellent hotel! We arrived to a very warm welcome from all the staff who couldn’t do enough for us. The food was delicious and plentiful. The spa was very relaxing and had lots of amenities. We would definitely recommend this hotel again. Please don’t change anything!

Would happily recommend this hotel. Excellent staff, very nicely furnished and a very good standard of food at breakfast and diner. Our group found it Outstanding value for money. Kaprun is a smaller village and the hotel is about 15 min walk from the center. Subsequently it is nice and quiet in the evenings. Can see why it is so popular with families, couples and others. The bus stop is very nearby which makes access the ski areas very easy. There has been a great deal of thought put into the design, fixtures and fittings. Very comfortable rooms with great facilities throughout the property. Overall would stay here again very happily.

All I can say is wow! We spent the time in 3 hotels on this trip. Das Falkenstein was the best by far. From decoration through the sauna, the cozy room, the pools, the service, the breakfast, the free kaprun summer time card (amazing), the nearby hiking options and much more. Thanks for all.

Beautiful lodge in Kaprun The stay in Das Falkenstein was beyond my expectation. The room was beautiful, well-furnished, with ample space. The location was very convenient. The breakfast was delicious and well presented. They had so wonderful facilities. I didn't want to leave!

There are so many great things to say about Das Falkenstein! My husband and I stayed for 6 nights after flying in from Australia and it was the most perfect spot to unwind. We booked a Studio Vogelfrei room and it was spacious, spotlessly clean, the bed was comfy and we had a great balcony with a view of the mountains. We booked the half board, which is something I had never done before, and it was the best decision. breakfast and dinner every night were incredible and we couldn't fault a thing. The restaurant staff were lovely and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The wellness room and indoor and outdoor pools were amazing and we spent the afternoons laying on the outdoor sun beds after long days exploring the mountains and walking tracks. Our stay included the Summercard which was another huge bonus. It was great to be able to jump on the bus or Gondolas for free and it meant that we didn't need to hire a car during our stay. We relived our teenage years by playing the pinball machine downstairs each night after dinner which was a good laugh. A big thumbs up to whoever did the interior design, it's so quirky and cool. We come to Europe every couple of years and we will be definitely coming back to Das Falkenstien, we are missing it already. The only negative would be that the reception staff were a little unfriendly but the other staff were so attentive and friendly. Thanks for an incredible stay.
