더 그랜드 캔디안(The Grand Kandyan)

酒店先説好的：酒店的風景無敵好，在Roof可以俯瞰Kandy（圖1&2）；早餐也還不錯，每人一個set，我選的Sri Lanka（圖3） 再來，有很嚴重的問題： 首先，預訂的時候看清楚，“可住1人”，到店後如果有第二個人，補20USD 其次，Lobby的reception對中國人不是很友好，笑臉相應走上來，問“Are you Japanese？”我們説“No, we are Chinese.” 然後他扭頭走了… 再有，房間沒有很乾凈，看圖4的床單 最重要的，如果你對黴味很敏感，真的不要定！！！房間一開門全是黴味，看下圖5的沙發就知道了；跟前台反饋後，他們的解決方案是噴空氣清新劑…

The bed was comfy. The view was amazing. The staff were very friendly. The location is very close to downtown but up a hill so very very quiet. The food is good, EXCEPT the mutton biryani. Don't order the Mutton Biryani it was just tough fatty meat that you couldn't chew unless you want to feel like you're chewing on an old piece of gum.

酒店乾淨，還不錯，需要自己備拖鞋和牙刷牙膏，服務也是不錯的。

This beautiful and old hotel is located on top of a hill in Kandy and give you a magnificent view. Breakfast and dinner Buffet was diverse and delicious. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were really friendly, helpful and attentive. They consider my cousin's birthday and surprise her with a Birthday cake while we were eating breakfast, and then they have decorated our room while we were out on city tour.

Excellent location and views. Warm welcome and reception. Very pleasant lobby with plenty of luxurious sitting areas. Check-in was swiftly done while sitting on the comfortable chair having the welcome fresh juice and then tea. The room is very spacious, and I guess it was an upgrade as it was very big with two sitting areas and even a dining table. Comfort room is well equipped for handicapped. View from the room , roof, or restaurant were awesome. Plenty TV channels in all languages. All essential room amenities are available. Breakfast and dinner were buffet that satisfy all tastes. The dynamic director; Mr Hilary, is continuously roaming around and appears from everywhere ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of all guests. I can't thank him enough for all the help he offered during my stay. Really, I would have loved to extend my stay in the hotel longer. And, it really made competition and comparison with other hotels difficult because of the very high standards offered. We had the chance to see several weddings during our stay . Check out was easy, and luckily, the bell boy found forgotten items which he brought to our car. Definitely, that memory will last long time . I wish I could be able to come back and just spend my vacation in the hotel.

This is our favourite hotel in the world. We are escaping cold weather in Geneva Switzerland and spending three months here. We enjoy the gym and the pool every day. Plus the food is excellent, the staff are friendly and efficient and we are very comfortable. Clint in room service is a wonderful guy, Hilary is a great guy as are all of the fellows at the gym and pool. Sumith makes a new animal with only two towels every day. I am adding a few photos with him and today he made a turtle.

Located top of the hill, you can see aerial bird view is Kandy. Very well designed and Well maintained, looks brand new. Enjoyed the stay, great hospitality, good food, good service and very friendly. Special thanks to Mr. Dharmasiri and others.

We had a wonderful experience at the Grand Kandyan Hotel in Kandy. The spacious rooms offered magnificent Mountain views and Bahirawakanda Temple statue, creating a serene and tranquil a**osphere. The breakfast provided was exceptional, with every item tasting delicious and satisfying. The hotel's convenient location near key sightseeing attractions in Kandy made exploring the city effortless and enjoyable. Overall, the Grand Kandyan Hotel exceeded my expectations, providing a comfortable stay with breathtaking views and delicious food.
