레지던스 앳 카나타 레이크(Residences at Kanata Lakes)

Booked for business and spending a little time with family living in Ottawa. The check in process was extremely efficient with a very capable desk attendant. The directions and information she provided was clear and accurate, even late at night after a long and tedious travel day. The unit was bigger than expected and very comfortable. Our assigned unit faced a forest with newly fallen snow so certainly amore pleasant a view than anticipated, and meaning there was little if any outside noise. Likewise no noise from other units. This is something that differentiates these suites from other rooms and suites in Kanata. The kitchen was modestly equipped but had everything required for a short stay. Like the rest of the unit, it was sparkling, open and bright. The high ceilings in the unit really helped add to the spacious feel. Parking is easy, abundant and free. Delivery of food to the unit also works really well with lots to choose from. It is a longish (15 minute), but nice walk, or super-quick drive, to supermarkets and many other stores. Given the very limited suite choices in Kanata and other hotels offering mediocre rooms (and suites) and even more mediocre services, the Kanata Residences are an amazing find. Nothing to complain about thus far. Will try the pool and gym shortly. This is likely to be my go-to location when visiting Ottawa and Kanata.

We stayed at the Residences at Kanata Lakes from January to July while our home was undergoing renovations. The hallways, elevators and the garbage room were very clean and tidy. The property is very well managed and the staff work incredibly hard to make it the property that it is We had a 2 bedroom unit for our family of 4 and our two cats. The unit had a full sized kitchen, washer and dryer, dishwasher and 2 full bathrooms. The units are well kept and come with cutlery, pots and pans and dishes. Our unit was very comfortable. The amenities were easy to access and you are within walking distance of groceries, restaurants and coffee shops. It is very well situated. If you are looking for a short or long terms stay, the Residences at Kanata Lakes is worth considering, you won't be disappointed.
