Superior Hotel Post Ischgl

My family has been coming to this hotel for years and we absolutely love it. Spotlessly clean throughout. Excellent food. Professional but very friendly staff. Convenient to the ski lift and in a great location in the centre of the village. The lady that runs/owns it is very very professional and takes a proactive hands on approach to every aspect of the hotel. Great heated outdoor pool and spa area. Fantastic customer service ethos throughout the hotel. I would never consider another hotel in Ischgl as long as the same family continue to own it. One thing though, please bring back the parmesan cheese wheel! Brilliant experience and I’d highly recommend

We loved staying at the Hotel Post and would highly recommend. All the staff were brilliant. Housekeeping and reception made sure the bed was super comfy for me (I have chronic pain), the restaurant team were exceptional - especially Gabriel, who looked after us at our meals. Margrethe in the spa was absolutely brilliant - I had three treatments from her and they were great. The highlight was Michael, the ski guide. His guidance and advice made our holiday. We understand why so many people return to ski with him! We booked late so had to choose a suite - room 515 had a great view of the slope and the centre of the village, but the glazing was great and it was super quiet, despite the central location. It is technically not ski out - but it is a very short walk to the Fimba lift. You can ski back in (unless you are a beginner). Looking forward to returning again! A really super hotel, outstanding food of fine-dining quality and nice indoor and outdoor pools. Our room was spacious, clean and modern. It's a shame that Austrian hotels don't include tea-making facilities in rooms but you can't have everything!

We have just returned from a holiday at Hotel Post and were absolutely delighted with the quality and service at this hotel. We have visited The Alps many times and this is without doubt the best hotel we have stayed in. The facilities at the hotel are first class. We had a lovely room with lots of space and storage, a comfortable bed, high quality bathroom and a balcony with wonderful views. The pool and spa facilities were excellent with a great choice of steam rooms and saunas to enjoy. We also very much enjoyed the sauna infusion and steam room sessions carried out by the Sauna Meister. The food at the hotel was superb, with an excellent choice of cold and hot food for breakfast and a 6-course evening meal. We particularly liked the evenings with buffet starters and desserts where the choice was extensive and of high quality. The hotel offered daily guided walks which were excellent, Jonas (the guide) was great and would modify trips depending on the abilities of the group. We wanted to do a more challenging walk and he took us on a hike tailored to our needs. The guided hikes were also a great opportunity to get to know other guests in the hotel. A final mention must be made about the staff at the hotel, everyone was so friendly and helpful and service was excellent in every way. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and if we come back to this area again, we will definitely be staying at Hotel Post. Thanks to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable.

Just back from our week in the Hotel Post and it was absolutely excellent in every way. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean as is the whole hotel. The food was brilliant, could not fault a single thing. The staff were lovely although I did get the wrath of Alexander on my first morning when I asked for some guidance, he was extremely rude & sharp and didn't stop to help one bit, have to say I was pretty shocked by his behaviour, but all other staff were first class.

Great location and lovely, welcoming and friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Spacious, comfortable rooms and outstanding food every night. The hotel’s walking guide visited each table each evening to give inspiration and recommendations for hiking in the area, which was a great touch. Shout out to Jonas, the hotel’s other guide, who led varied and interesting tours during our stay. All-in-all: faultless! We will definitely be back.
