"If you’re traveling to the area for hiking, biking or to see the local sites, this is a good place to stay. Don’t let the older appearance of this type of motel deter you-usually I see the older, motor-court and think twice. It would appear that the owners have done quite a bit of work to both the exterior and interior. The room we (2) stayed in was smaller, but had everything we needed. It was clean (both linens and interior) and the bed was comfortable. Flat screen tv on wall, plus mini-fridge, table and chairs and comfy recliner. The owners were happy to share advice on local restaurants and attractions as well. If you’re staying in this area, stay here. The other positive TripAdvisor are accurate. "
