"Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my stay at Terrado Estudio 56, which was deeply unsatisfactory and concerning, both due to the quality of service received and serious issues related to the treatment of guests and the handling of our personal data. Upon entering the room, we noticed a strong smell of cigarettes in both the bedroom and the bathroom, making the environment particularly unpleasant. Despite this, we decided to air out the room and continue our stay. We later noticed that the kitchen lacked basic utensils, such as forks, which made it difficult to use the facilities normally. Furthermore, the bathtub did not have a plug, preventing its proper use. In addition, the kitchen was in poor hygienic condition. During the night, there was a power outage in the room, so we went to reception to request assistance. At that time, we encountered the security guard, who was covering a lunch break. Understanding that the problem wasn't necessarily his responsibility, we politely asked him to try contacting a manager or supervisor to resolve the issue. However, his response was to tell us we would have to wait approximately half an hour, refusing to attempt any contact with another person in charge. Subsequently, despite our repeated requests, he became evasive and even began to ignore us. Due to the situation, I decided to record what was happening on video, at which point the security guard—who identified himself as Nicolás—reacted in a hostile manner, stating that he would sue me for recording him. He then asked which room we were staying in and, after checking the hotel's system, proceeded to take a picture of the screen displaying our personal information, including our national identification number, full name, address, and phone number, both mine and my partner's. This action constitutes an extremely serious situation, as it involves the unauthorized and improper use of guests' personal data. The argument continued until the receptionist finally arrived. She acted correctly and cooperatively, going up to our room with us and resolving the electrical problem. Afterward, she intervened to get the security guard to delete the photograph of our information, as he initially refused. Despite deleting the image, the guard stated that he "already had our information," which was particularly intimidating. In short, the experience was profoundly poor, considering the numerous problems described. Additionally, it's important to emphasize that we wasted an excessive amount of time trying to resolve all these issues."

"We have a bad experience, first because what we bought under the hotel concept, never appeared as "Hotel Velero Express" located in the centre of Iquique, when we arrived we saw a rather humilde place, We had to climb our luggage through a very narrow stairway to a room floor, when we entered the triple room, we met a bedroom without gardens just in the window where the sun is most entering, Without air conditioning less a ventilator, the shower was wet all the floor, breakfast was never buffet, the only thing I wanted was to cry out of impotence and disappointment, I spoke to the owner and changed us to Hotel Velero Cavancha, though it has the necessary comforts, the owner's treatment leaves much to say, prepotent man, who cannot argue without offending, using qualifications to my person for demanding an explanation because on Sunday 8 February, we didn't have breakfast ... The explanation was "We forgot to warn the cafeteria, where the hotel is a luxury cafeteria, and Iquique has fortunately surprised us and has passed the bitter drink of the experience of Hotel Velero Express and Hotel Velero Cavancha."

"We were travelling as a group of 3 so chose a 2 bed apartment. Beach view, clean, kitchen, 2x double bed rooms. Very clean, rooms cleaned daily. Free parking. We ate across the road at the Mexican cafe/restaurant, Alebrijes. Such a warm friendly welcome. The food was exceptional! Fantastic vibrant decor. Can’t recommend it enough!"
