가비나 센스 이키케(Hotel Gavina Costa Mar)

It is a very comfortable hotel, with simple, but very agreable installations. Its location, in the sea strand, is beautiful to see and taking photos. Sleeping with the sound of the vagues is incredible! restaurant has a wide operating hours, and the menu incorporates many regional food.

In this hotel I have we have a normal experience, the service was good and food is has also good taste, but nothing out of ordinary. The location is in the north part of IQQ, good but not the best. The gym is not well maintained, also is very simple. The view and the pool is very good. Nothing more to add.

My one-night stay at Gavina Sens was great, but my whole experience was drastically elevated thanks to the incredible service of Antonio at reception. Not only does he speak fluent English, he is the kindest individual I have met anywhere in Iquique, and he goes above and beyond to ensure stays are the best here. He and his team set me up with a wonderful ocean-view room for my stay, and the views were outstanding. The price is high, but the cost is worth it. Moreover, when I encountered difficulties with electric wheelchair accessibility and taking a long-distance bus, I briefly returned to Gavina Sens just to seek out Antonio’s assistance (as he really was the only English speaker who could understand and solve my complex needs). He showed excellent compassion and effort in coordinating with regional bus companies to ensure my electric wheelchair could have time to be loaded onto the bus, and sure enough, I successfully left the city for a trip to Arica later in the day. Without his help, I would’ve surely been stuck in Iquique for a long time more. All in all, I recommend this property for a classy Iquique night’s sleep!

I called to cancel and rebook the reservation on Tuesday when I was supposed to arrive because my flight was postponed for a day. The agent told me the hotel clerk could not waive the first-night charge and asked me to talk to the manager when I would arrive the following day. So I did after wasting quite a bit of time talking to the clerk who could not speak English. Finally, the manager showed up. I showed her the proof of flight postponement. Instead of waiving the first-day charge, she offered me a discount for the second and third nights to deal with the hotel directly bypassing **********. I refused and told her I would not stay in that hotel unless she waive the first-night charge. Then she told me to stay, and she would take care of the charges for the first night. She said she would get back to me but she never did. I looked for her three times but she was nowhere to be found. When I checked out, the front desk still would not waive the first-night charges and wanted to charge me the discounted price for the second and their nights by passing **********. I refused and told them I would deal with ********** myself, not them. So I left without paying them.

Nice location with a beautiful ocean view from the endless pool where birds of all types dip in for a quick drink.,The breakfast / dinning room ceiling to floor all glass view is one of the best I have seen in Iquique. The buffet (included in the room) has the typical selections of items. Tea and Cafe are included but if you ask for something extra, like an espresso , expect to pay additional for it. The rooms are clean and as appear in the photos, The staff spoke little english and when consulted for VAS services like bike rental, or scooters, were of no help. We went for my daughters 12th B day and apart form parasailing, I wanted to make her day special by coordinating some balloons and soft drinks out of the pool deck. It could not be organized I was told. No big deal however I would have expected for 5 start "service" for the price of the hotel. Parking was available however extremely limited. They will find space for you however, once again, not a 5 start expienrece

La habitación que daba hacia la calle era tremendamente ruidosa por las noches ya que los ventanales no eran de termopanel, además el ventanal de mi habitación no cerraba (tuvieron que arreglarlo). En la piscina faltan sombrillas, el sol es insoportable durante la tarde, el pasto sintético horrible estéticamente, lo mismo los bordes de la piscina con unas púas que le quitan a la vista la relajación que ese entorno merece, definitivamente deben mejorar el espacio de la piscina.

Las vistas al Pacífico espectaculares recomiendo las que dan a la costa ; servicio excelente; comida excelente; desayuno excelente. El paisaje que se ve desde el restaurante bellísimo ; cerca de la Zofri ; en una palabra me encantó; volvemos.

Lamentable la experiencia , Sunset a partir de las 19:00 y hasta las 24:00 imposible descansar ruidos molestos que traspasan el sonido ambiental , piscina ocupada y se pierde el sentido del hotel descansar imposible , se hizo presente en recepción y solo se recibe la molestia de los pasajeros

He ido en múltiples ocasiones a este hotel porque me encanta la vista maravillosa y escuchar el sonido del mar en la noche. Usualmente llegamos muy temprano por los horarios de los vuelos y nos reciben el equipaje y lo guardan hasta poder hacer el check in. El desayuno del día de llegada no está incluído, pero es buffet por un valor creo de 14.000 por persona, pero es espectacular, hay mucha variedad de alimentos y con una vista espectacular. Me gusta la habitación que está justo en una esquina y la última vez que fui no nos hicieron problema para cambiar a mi habitación favorita (los amé) Los domingos hay almuerzo buffet también (con costo adicional) En general todo el personal es un 7, siempre han sido super atentos, solucionan cualquier duda o solicitud con celeridad y siempre nos han atendido excelente. Sólo tengo buenos comentarios para el staff de recepción y del restaurante (para todos, no podría dejar fuera a nadie porque mi experiencia cada vez que he ido ha sido cada vez mejor)
