All the comforts of home, directly on the AuSable River! This 19th century building has 4 units, high ceilings, & tons of natural light. Unit 1 is located on the 1st floor. Each unit has shared access to the front yard, private fire pits overlooking the river & assigned off street parking space in the driveway for your vehicle. Wonderful, location with several local amenities & close to many Adirondack attractions.Centrally, located between Lake Placid & Plattsburgh, NY in the heart of Au Sable Forks on the main road to Wilmington (White Face), & Lake Placid. We’re directly on the East branch of the Au Sable River & walking distance to many things. Including, a shuttle to Lake Placid/Whiteface. Unit 1 is located on the first floor and has 2 beautifully decorated bedrooms & one office. Bedroom 1 has a double bed. The second bedroom is slightly smaller & also has a full size bed. The third room has a desk & daybed. The large living room/dining room features a comfortable sofa and love seat with a flat screen smart TV over a non working fireplace. Complimentary, coffee & tea is also available on the coffee bar. All units have an assigned off street parking space for 1 vehicle. Jay covered bridge and swim holes are within walking distance.OUR HOME: Our renovated grandfather's home is located on 18 acres on a peaceful back road in Jay, NY. Relax on the deck overlooking the 180 degree views of the Adirondack High Peaks. Walk our trails in the woods behind our house or play in the yard (i.e., baseball and frisbee or sledding down the hill in the winter). Roast marshmallows over the fire in our fire pit in the woods (strict fire safety rules apply & no fires in drought seasons).
