This listing is a winter rental only- the summer months are filled every year with repeat family and friends. Previous winter renters have been professionals working in the nearby hospital and rehab facilities and students/teachers attending the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport. The entire house has new hardwood floors, a new kitchen and fresh paint. The cottage is fully furnished and well equipped with "Pottery Barn" style furnishings. There are 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed. Upstairs is a kids loft area. There is one full bath downstairs with tub/shower. All linens and towels are included. The detached garage provides a rustic getaway with Adirondack style chairs and table for quiet reading or projects. A Weber Q gas grill is also provided.This cozy cottage is located on a quiet street comprised mostly of 1930's Sears & Roebuck houses. It's only 3 blocks from downtown Camden where delightful shops, restaurants, galleries, the library and the beautiful harbor await. The YMCA is located a half mile from the house. Tastefully decorated extra large one bedroom apartment located 2 blocks from the center of town!Incredibly convenient location within easy walking distance of everything in downtown Camden! You are already parked in the best spot to walk to restaurants and shops, the Village Green, the Library and Amphitheater, and the Harbor Landing. Camden and the mid-coast area also features a State Park with great mountain hikes, nearby lakes with freshwater swimming. The local ski area, The Snow Bowl, has great mountain bike trails with views all the way to Acadia National Park across the Bay. These are all very short drive! A popular hiking trail to the top of Mt Battle, starts, a ten minute walk from the apartment. The apartment is on the second floor above an a quiet office. Relax on the deck with a view across the Bay! Or wake up early to watch the sun rise. The living room is light filled and shares the same view as the front deck. Hardwood floors and custom woodwork are featured throughout. There is a new queen size sofa bed in the living room. In the open kitchen there are granite countertops and barstool seating. All modern kitchen appliances, including oven, stovetop, refrigerator and freezer, toaster, coffee maker. A unique counter and pass through to the morning coffee/sunroom brings the light into the kitchen. This is another place to enjoy the great view. All the windows are new and open to the summer breeze. Next to the kitchen and sunroom there is a more formal dining area with a new dining table and chairs. The bedroom is large and features a new queen bed and mattress, dressers and chairs.There are several large closets and a closet like space with a modern washer and drier. The bathroom features all fresh paint, granite counter top, a glass shower stall.In all, the apartment features over 850 square feet of space.
