'Upon arrival the receptionist Chloe, made me think twice, did I book the right hotel! Her demeanour was not so welcoming, no smile, body language was off, no questions asked such as ”have you stayed here before”. She was quite blunt and straight faced. However, the room attendants, spa staff, and the young lady (blond hair) on the bar approximately 9pm on 20th February were very cheerful and polite, we had a brief conversation. The only downside, I found a mouse dropping on my duvet! Other than this, I would stay again.'

'Staff were friendly and very helpful Hotel was busy but heard no noise from other guests Basic rooms but great for the price'

'The hotel is neat and the staff are welcoming. However, there is a bed bug in their rooms. When I complained about it, I was moved to another room in which there are also bed bugs.'

'Great hotel - bit of a hidden gem. Used to be an Ibis but it’s now part of the Holiday Inn group. Has been fully refurbished. Beds are amazing, thick new mattresses, fluffy pillows and some of the coldest aircon I’ve ever experienced. We were visiting family in the area and I would definitely stay here again. It’s next to the motorway but I heard no noise. McDonald’s and Morrisons close by if you need any essentials.'

'It’s a really new hotel! Dog friendly as well Free parking, it’s better you coming here by driving Clean and nice stuff there 🤗 Will definitely go back again'

'Quiet and well connected location. Good views from the bedroom overlooking the well tendered fields of the nearby facility. Easy access to nearby major motorways. Adequate free parking (need to self-register at check-in). Tired decor but fairly maintained in most part. Safe provided for your valuables. Old style flat screen TV. Shower over bath provides good experience. Massive comfortable bed supporting good sleep experience every night. Bedroom access card was a huge problem at check-in and in-between my stay - I had to return back to reception three times as the card didn't work at check-in! Ended up insisting that the staff seek help as I was not ready to keep doing the same thing and expect a different result. I got back another evening and card had stopped working again but staff at reception this time was quite responsive - after one unsuccessful attempt to reactivate the card he immediately went up with me to use a staff card to allow me access back to my bedroom with plan for resolving the card issue thereafter. I am appreciative of his reassuring approach.'

'From check in to check.out served by warm, friendly professional staff, a pleasure to stay in this old hotel. Special thanks to Miranda and Carol, the housekeeping ladies for providing us with a spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Plenty of hot water, big clean towels, good size tv and were very generous replenishing our tea and coffee supplies. Enjoyed a good IPA beer on the first evening and loved listening to the live singing, 70's throwback by the excellent female singer. Would stay here again should we need to book a hotel on our next visit to Rotherham.'

'Local Hotel to visit my family great location and very easy access to the M1'
