'I cannot recommend too highly a stay at the Crown Hotel. We were warmly welcomed by staff, helped take our belongings to our room which had all the facilities one would expect. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and although not needed by us, a room heater and also a portable room cooling unit available should these be required. There were ample toiletries in the bathroom and the same for the tea/coffee/biscuits tray. The highlight of our stay was that breakfast was included in the price we paid. It was a full Scottish breakfast and everything on the plate was of the highest quality and service was excellent. Once again, if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Portpatrick, this is the place, right on the sea front.'

'Perfect stay for the ferry but a lovely town and worth more than one night Really friendly staff who are genuinely pet friendly There was entertainment on when I stayed but due to an early ferry I’d missed it but the band members were nice too I’ll stay again and recommend Only had a pudding which was nice and the main dishes looked better than what I’d had elsewhere Over heard an awkward customer and the kitchen even catered for her Thanks for a great stay'
