From Lyme Regis (1 hour) to Dartmouth (90 minutes) the south coast is easily reached. Sidmouth, Branscombe, Budleigh, Exmouth and Dawlish are all around 45 minutes away. The list of options is almost endless!On the quieter north coast there are sandy beaches a plenty from the surf of Bude (90 minutes) to Saunton (75 minutes).Step out of the cottage and Devon is at your doorstep. Local walks and the beautiful Blackdown Hills are nearby. A stone's throw away from the cottage you will find Coldharbour Mill - a fascinating working wool museum dating from the 1790s which is open from Wednesday to Friday between 10:30am and 3pm. The Mill also has a gift shop and café. Over the road from the cottage and a 10 minute stroll is Bridwell House, the home of Lord Ivar Mountbatten. The Orangery at Bridwell serves great coffee and cake and has an extensive lunch menu. That's open from 10am to 4pm. Into antiques and vintage?
