"Furniture was a little worn. Clean though. Close to Bass Pro, Hobby Lobby & Mardel. Several fast food and restaurants close by. We did not eat the breakfast, since a convention was going on that we were not aware of. We would stay again if we are in the Independence area."

"From the moment we stepped through the front door the stay was crap. There was no front desk clerk. There is literally a kiosk with a guy from India on the screen. They outsourced their front desk to India. In the morning there was someone at the desk, but for check in it was the kiosk. Then at midnight my wife woke me up... bed bugs. They wouldn't refund us since we already stayed for more than a few hours. So I tried to negotiate... how about letting us out of the reservation for the next 2 nights since I rsvp'd for 3? Na, we will just move your room. No, we are not staying here. We did not pay for bed bugs. OK, we will let you out for the bed bug room, but not the room that didn't have them (we had 2 rooms). Finally after threatening to write a review they gave us a refund for both rooms."

"Room 338 was SO hot. Adjusting the thermostat to the lowest setting on AC did not help. The blower ran continuously and was so incredibly loud it gave me a headache and I had to leave and checkout after 3 hours even though my reservation was non refundable :("
