This was a return visit, and it did not disappoint . Elodie, the host and owner was as attentive as before and the rooms were as we remembered and very quirky and well equipped. The breakfast choices were huge, with everything fresh . It’s an ideal location to visit Ypres and the Ypres Salient.

Pretty much a perfect hotel! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left Elodie made sure that we had everything we needed and were as comfortable as possible. We stayed in the Experiment room, which has a fantastically large bathroom, with a brilliant shower. Breakfast in the morning was more than we could have possibly asked for - with a wide range of buffet foods - cheeses, meats, pate, bread, fruit, yoghurt, cereal - plus the option to have a hot dished freshly cooked. The hotel is a just a short walk from the Cloth Hall and as such a very convenient location to visit all things Ypres and beyond. Thank you so much to Elodie for making our weekend so relaxing!

This is an exquisite boutique hotel located in beautiful Ypres. Elodie, our hostess, was charming and thoughtful. Our rooms were luxuriously comfortable with fabulous themes-Wild and Experiment. The bathrooms were huge and immaculate. We were thrilled with the gourmet breakfast-far better than some 5 star hotels we have stayed at. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return.

From the moment we arrived Elodie made us so very welcome and made our stay an absolute pleasure. It is a wonder boutique hotel and our room was perfect. Elodie made us a great breakfast every day, which helped when you going out exploring WW1 battlefields for the day. Ypres is a beautiful city and Main Street Hotel is definitely a great place to stay. We cannot wait to go again.

Beautiful spotless room, quiet with lovely view, comfortable bed, attentive host, fantastic breakfast, great location! The room and house decor was very unique and individual with lots of tiny details. Breakfast spread extremely generous.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed into this warm, inviting hotel by Elodie the owner who did everything to make you feel at home and comfortable. The room was ready when we arrived at 2pm and it was beautifully decorated and very comfortable and spacious. Together with the gorgeous bathroom we instantly wanted to stay longer than the 1 night we were booked in for. The breakfast was divine. Fresh fruit, homemade breads, cheeses meats and pate and that was before the hot food menu! I had the scrambled eggs and bacon which was delicious. We wouldn’t hesitate to visit again and encourage anyone visiting Ypres (Ieper) to book here - you won’t be disappointed! Thank you Elodie!

We have stayed at Main Street a few times now and this time we took friends who we have told about the great place we stay and they couldn't believe how great the hotel was and the owner Elodie how helpful she was and made our stay just perfect , the b breakfast is by far the best we have had on our travels and we have travelled to lots of places over the years, If you stay here you must try the tapas

This was our first stay but definitely won’t be our last. Just a one night stay on our way to Bruges but will stay longer in Ypres next time. Elodie was very welcoming and went out of her way to make us comfortable. The room was fantastic as was the breakfast which was delicious! Ypres is a lovely town and although the Menin Gate is still being restored the Last Post is well worth experiencing. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.
