Ibis Hyères Plage Thalassa

The hotel is very nicely located close to a beach that is directly accessible from the hotel area. The hotel has got a free swimmingpool, and sun-beds for guests. But (at least compared to our last stay in 2023), the hotel has lost some of its "charm". For a three-star hotel the cost of a twin-bed room with breakfast of 238 to 258 euros pr night is getting expensive. When we stayed in 2023, the staff was very friendly and helpful - and we quickly decided to stay here in 2024. This time some of the members of staff were not very helpful. When one of us got food-poisoned at one of the lasts day of our stay (most likely from a meal at the hotel). We wanted to stay another night The staff were not very helpful and of much assistance (e.g checking if there were other hotels (of the same chain) close by that had rooms and other possibilities). Also one of the waiters behaved close to very rude towards us during one of our first evening meals. This is rather sad, because the hotel has all the potential of being a very nice place that we could stay at again.

Very happy to practice aquagym in a salty sea water swimming pool after Vichy Marvelous welcome by Veronique and Pierre Antoine. Nice view on the beach and seaside. Practice of the frog jump and exercises always good. Thank you to the Aimar family and too bad I had not much time to stay longer. Years after years always glad to visit even if I haven’t been playing babyfoot this year as it used to be. Thank you so much for all see you soon again for my next visit to kitesurfing paradise.

Nice hotel, in a beautiful landscape for a visit, great swimming pool with sea warm water and good food. Good places to visit in the nearby. The staff is very kind and willing to assist. I'll come back, for sure

Rooms are renovated and nice, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the massages are great, breakfast buffet is quite large with lots of local products. The restaurant is very good and they have new dishes every day. Direct access to the beach. Only downside but it's for hygienic reasons and it makes sense, you must wear a swim cap to enter the indoor pool. Highly recommended

Nous apprécions cet hôtel en bord de plage et ses prestations (thalasso, hammam, piscine eau de mer...)

L'ensemble est vieillissant malgré l'entretien, la partie du bâtiment ou nous avons séjourné n'était pas très accueillant. La salle de bain de la chambre séparée par un rideau, pas de placard, la chambre était propre. Le déjeuner et dîner étaient très bien, le personnel est très sympathique. Côté thalasso les soins sont bien dans l'ensemble mais courts. Le personnel est dans l'ensemble sympathique, un peu l'impression "d'abattage" au niveau des soins. La piscine côté thalasso a trois jets qui ne fonctionnent pas. Piscine commune thalasso-hôtel, il fait froid pas envie de rester dans les transats. Sinon le complexe est bien niveau jardin, accès à la plage devant, belle terrasse devant la piscine et mer avec transats.
