Hotel personnels are great. But reception couldn’t find our reservation booked by trip.com. We arrived to hotel at 3 am and we waited until 5 am. Trip.com service called the hotel and helped us finally but reception hold our passports until morning. We don’t think so we will come this hotel and book hotel by trip.com next time. We were using *********** until this reservation and we had no problem ever. Thats why we will not use trip com for hotel booking never

Review So we arrived at Stella Resort & Spa on the 22nd June 2025 for a week stay. Check in was smooth and the bell boy took us to our room. Along the way the bell boy gave us all the information on where the main features of the hotel were such as the main dining court, the “Al a Carte” restaurants & beach snack bar. This in my opinion was amazing because we knew the layout due to this information. The hotel complex is very large boasting a number of pools and also a lovely pool bar. The hotel is spotless and the staff work very hard in blistering heat to maintain this. There are a vast amount of beds around the various pools and we found no issues in getting beds, even late in the morning. There are large parasols with every two beds which also great as it was very hot. Food. Breakfast- So as you would expect the food is catered along the lines of most hotels around Europe boasting a large amount of fresh fruit, cheese and cold meats. Hot food is also available and you can have your fried eggs freshly made and also omelettes made fresh to your liking. There are two hot plates where you can get these. We always went to Gedo as he is so welcoming and always has a smile and joke with you while he makes your order for you. We love you Gedo, please never change. Lunch- Now you can either go to the snack bar located on the beach end of the resort where you can have chips, pizza, burgers and fresh fruit. We found the food here very good. You can also go to the main dining area where there is more of a selection such as freshly cooked meats both warm and cold on offer. The dining area is air conditioned which offers a lovely break from the heat while you dine. Evening Meal- Again plenty to choose from at the main dining court and we had no complaints regarding the food, it was all lovely. As we were staying for a week we had the ability to choose to dine in one of the four “Al a Carte” restaurants:- Italian,Indian, Lebanese or Chinese. Now the Italian and the Indian are situated on the Resort & Spa side of the complex and the Lebanese & Chinese are on the Stella Gardens side of the complex. You get to dine at two of these restaurants during your week stay and you simply book through reception. We chose the Italian and the Indian and both visits were 10 out of 10. The food and service were fantastic. If you do want to go to the Gardens side of the complex there is a regular shuttle bus you can use. Although we never went to the Gardens side of the complex we did have good reviews from other people we met. Hotel Pool Side Staff. Amazing is all I can say! We got to know many of the staff who are very courteous and welcoming. We particularly got to know “Shady & John” who were the two that were allocated our area of the pool. They were brilliant and regularly came past asking if we needed fresh drinks of which they would bring to you. Thankyou both so very much, you really enhanced our holiday experience. Nice beach, nice poll, clean rooms everyday, entertainers doing different activities everyday(Buddha is very nice and friendly), bar keepers is the best they serve us always , restaurant food is amazing and everyday is different food, the chef there is so friendly, next year for sure I will be coming back because I love this hotel

We had a great stay. Rooms very clean every day. Right at the beach with a platform for snorkeling. Just 2 remarks 1: no sunprotection over the kidspool. 2: not enough variation in the restaurant Lhajja makes the finest fresh bread. Animation team always there with a smile to enjoy the kids.

ROOM- We arrived to a twin room over looking the pool rather then the double garden view we paid for. Housekeeping just pushed the beds together the next afternoon leaving our heads above the reading light which gave electric shocks. Tried to ring down to reception as it was a health hazard but the phone didn’t work. The positive is that housekeeping go the extra mile, but ignored the do not disturb sign. We also had so many tiny ants in the bed and blood on the curtains which in general had such a bad smell. AIRCON- broke at 10:15pm one night and they said it would take 50 minutes to fix, 5 hours later it finally came on - all while it was 37 degrees. FOOD- Not good at all. We tried the Italian ‘a la carte’ restaurant and couldn’t eat it, we’re not picky either. There’s no ‘good’ fruit options, other than watermelon being given as a special one night. By the 3rd day onwards we spent alot of time in bed without eating as we couldn’t keep it down and were SO ill. There were even birds in the main restaurant/buffet room. DRINKS- You only get 1 bottle of water per person per day and each after this is €1.50 on the ‘all inclusive’ package. You can get water from a dispenser but you’d have no idea where it came from or how long it had sat there for. The cocktails were basic and not nice, if you want a pina colada or mojito you have to pay €3 extra and even then we overheard people say they were foul. The fruit juice just tastes synthetic, unless you want to pay €2 for the proper stuff. POOL- on our first day we went to the main pool and were bombarded by 3 sales men before we even put the towels down. Through the day this escalated to wolf whistles and ‘tester massages’ when repeatedly told no. This was constant through the day and just got plain annoying. However, we went to the relax pool each time after this and it was lovely. The life guard around this pool was amazing too. SPA- we had the intention of going to the spa but the sales men had a weird attitude which made me feel unsafe as a woman. This obviously put us off so we didn’t go. All in all it was just problem after problem which left us counting the days to go back home. When we finally got on the transfer to leave they called us back in to pay for a mini bar item we told them three times which they said ‘it was fine’. Instead they waited an hour till we were on the bus to call us back in (infront of everyone) and risk the transfer leaving. I wouldn’t have liked to have brought my kids here as the relax pool is 16+ and the main pool is where we had the problems. We’ve also never had a stomach problem quite like the one we experienced on this holiday, we unfortunately would not recommend.
