파라도르 데 혼다리비아(Parador de Hondarribia)

結論最高に素晴らしい、です。過去多くの宿泊施設に泊まりましたが、人生でTOP3にはいります。パラドールの中でも良いとの評判でしたがその通りでした。ホグワーツのような雰囲気ある館、部屋、アメニティ、朝食、対岸のパリが見える景観、別荘地という周辺の静かな環境と人、徒歩圏内にある美味しいレストランやバル。ここにくるために再度オンダリビアに来たいです。

Truly spectacular. A former Royal palace overlooking the Bay of Biscay. Right at the peak of the old town. An amazing interior with comfortable rooms. Sitting on the terrace, drink in hand, at sunset is an incredible way to end the day (or start the evening).

We stayed here a week while on a tour. We had room 210. It was an average size room with 2 twin beds pushed together, a desk, full length mirror, a closet, safe, 2 chairs, a ceiling fan, a fridge that had drinks which cost extra and 2 chairs. The room was very clean. The bathroom had a tub with a shower. One needed to be careful in the shower as the tub was slippery. The towel racks were so installed so high that I had to stand on my toes to get the towels off of it. It would have helped if I was over 6 ft. tall (I am 5'5"). The beds were comfy & had small rugs on either side. We did have an issue with the AC not working the first day or 2 so our room was warm. That said the staff was good about working to fix it. The Parador has lots of ambience in the main areas. The outdoor terrace is fantastic & has wonderful views of the water. It was a great place to sit in the afternoon and enjoy a glass of wine. Front desk staff were great. Our room did not have an elevator that we could use. That was a disappointment as I had checked with the tour company before booking. We had to climb up 2 stories since the lobby floor is floor 0, not the 1st floor. Breakfast was included in our plan. It was good. However, about the 3rd day, they started to run out of items like yogurt which many of would have liked. Also at times they were slow at restocking the buffet. Some days it seemed like the restaurant was understaffed at breakfast with one person working instead of 2. All in all a good 4 star experience.

The history and architecture characters, the interiors of the meeting rooms, the common sitting areas, different stairs and hallways with displays are full of wonderful surprises. Its location which is at the center of the historical town makes it incompatible. The breakfast is excellent!

Wonderful historic hotel. It has outstanding views of the river and bay, all the way to the ocean. It is on the highest point of the city, so if you leave be prepared to walk up the hills to get back. There is an elevator to get near the walk by the bay. Many interesting things to see inside the hotel so be sure to explore every corner and stairwell. Breakfast was included too, which had a lot of choices of meats, breads, cheese and fruits. A wonderful stay. The only negative is that it is a good walk away from the main stretch of restaurants and shops, but that is the ONLY negative. They provide parking (did not use it) and internet (did not use that)

What a charming place to stay. Although we couldn't stay in the suites, our room was absolutely fine - but wandering around the Parador was like slipping back to medieaval times. So many wonderful things to see. If you like castles, you'll love this place. Lovely, friendly staff, good choice at breakfast, and in a great location. The only downside is the lack of a pool, but the terrace is lovely for relaxing in the sun.

Excellent hotel and great location. The hotel is situated above the town of Hondarribia and great views across the river estuary. The rooms are pleasant and breakfast was very good. Take yuor time and explore the neighbourhood of the hotel.

We loved everything about the hotel (except maybe the narrow street to enter the parking)! The Palace itself, the grand halls, the tapestries, the courtyard, the views from our rooms out over the patio to the sea and the sunset. Service was wonderful, breakfast lovely assortment of meats and cheeses and breads and pastries. Hondarribia itself was fun, as were nearby San Sebastian and Biarritz in France

It was a very nice experience to stay in an old castle. The interior decoration was lovely with a great atmosphere. Also, the breakfast buffet was very good and the staff was friendly and helpful, which made for a good trip.
