Unwind at this historic cabin on the river at Camp Miramichee Falls in Hardy, AR. This original stone cabin was built in 1940, used by the Zonta Foundation, then by YWCA Camp Miramichee until 1979. Its history and craftsmanship make it a unique find to spend a relaxing getaway. Stone floors and walls keep it cool in the summer. The original stone fireplace is cozy in the winter. Though the modern central air and heat are a nice touch! You will feel like you are in a treehouse perched above the Southfork of the Spring River. Your cabin is directly overlooking river. You have your own firepit on the waterfront and you may use our kayaks around the cabin area. This cabin is approved for adults only for safety reasons (proximity to the river and heights). If you are looking to enjoy the river and outdoors, you have found the perfect cabin. We are located on the Southfork of the Spring River at Miramichee Falls, conveniently located between Hardy and Cherokee Village (2 miles from each). Enjoy a 350 square foot covered deck overlooking the river. Fish or paddle the river right outside your door. Use our kayaks in the cabin area. Grill out or enjoy a campfire by the river. The cabin has 1 king size bed and 1 full size bed. The full size bed is downstairs with a full bathroom, kitchen and living room. The king size bed is in a separate bedroom upstairs with a half bathroom, accessed through the outside deck stairs. It has a separate entrance and is not connected to the lower level inside. Because of cabin layout and safety, this cabin is for adults only.We typically close the upstairs bathroom during the coldest winter months when temperatures are well below freezing.
