"Booked this property during a trip from London to Dublin, we decided to choose Holyhead for a few days due to the proximity to the ferries to Dublin, Ireland. The property is located on a main road close to the actual main transport entrance to the ferry terminal so expect not much sleep. A self check in was easy. Our room was on the second floor via very steep staircases with a marine rope as a hand hold, this might look appealing but is not when you are lugging 18 kg cases up them. The bed in our room was jammed into a corner and barely a king single, we measured it to check. The hot water system in the shower has an issue which guests have to adjust every time they shower. Why not find a plumber with some ability to fix the problem? The common room is closed four hours a day, why? And under CCTV, we assume you enjoyed watching us eat our dinner and possibly over indulging in the cheap snacks on offer. Also apparently this business self rates itself so you have to question why. The best part about this place is the pub next door, a great venue in every sense but stay somewhere else, the price is unjustified for what you receive and servicing of our room was patchy at best."
