We booked a 3 bed room, which is very large enough for a family of 6. Although I couldn't expect a good city view because it was on the 4th floor, I am satisfied with the spacious and comfortable room condition. From the evening of the check-in day, the child complained of abdominal pain, and the next morning, the employee Mr. Brian told me to call him for help. He contacted the taxi and the hospital so that he could go directly to the hospital. He was of great help to me, who couldn't speak Vietnamese, worried about my child's condition until the day I left the room, and helped me move to the accommodation near the hospital. I was able to finish this trip safely with his help.

This was our second time staying at Sherwood Suites, the first time was in 2019. Our experience this time was just as wonderful. Honestly this has got to be the best hotel in HCMC. It’s worth the extra cost for sure. Our family of 2 adults and 3 children stayed in the Grand Suite which had two bedrooms plus a spare bed in a study nook/large cupboard. Beds are gloriously soft and comfortable, I’m fairly sure they fill the pillows with clouds, the rooms have the fastest wifi known to man, climate controlled quiet air-conditioning, a laundry with washer and dryer, a great kitchen with excellent size fridge, a great living dining area with a couch and table, tons of storage, two palatial bathrooms, and two tv’s with all the modern features (on our main bedroom tv airplay wasn’t working as I’m not sure the tv was connected to the same wifi network as our phones, but you know, first world problems 🤣). The hotel has a fantastic under cover but open air pool which looks small and dark in photos but really is gorgeous and large in real life. It also had a spa/jacuzzi and gym next door, plus a games room for small children, and a pool/billiards room for older ones. The restaurant had an excellent breakfast, where you have a small selection of pastries, yoghurt and fresh fruit and juices (real squeezed orange juice included), then also has a menu where you order as many cooked breakfast items as you like. You can also order a proper latte/tea/coffee as part of the buffet breakfast. The only improvement I can suggest is the rooms didn’t have a guide that told how this worked (there was a small guide on the tv but it mainly listed the services and times), so it was a little confusing working out that we ordered meals on top of the buffet spread at first, mainly as this is unique to Sherwood. The meals were so delicious it’s also worth having lunch or dinner here too, on the pricey side of course but absolutely worth it! Suggestion: It would be great if guests could order room service via an app, the website, or the tv menu, as this would avoid any language confusion and would be lovely for those that don’t feel too social. Staff were excellent, they really go above and beyond! All had really great english and were super friendly and helpful. The manager was always available to help out and offered great suggestions of things to do and see. Nothing was ever a bother, we arranged a tour and a few taxi’s via reception, and a late checkout for one of our rooms for an additional small fee, they handled everything perfectly and it really made the end of our trip a total highlight. Sherwood is very conveniently located in District 3, near lots of places to eat, a million coffee houses, a short walk to a few of the larger shopping centres and undercover market, as well as the war museum, beautiful old Saigon Central Post Office and Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica (cathedral). I have had a terrible experience at this hotel. In couple nights in the room 306, I feel very uncomfortable about the enclosed space of the room and the dirtiness of it, I have also encounted cockroaches and insects such as ants in the electric sockets and little spiders. It came to peak when there was a leakage at the sink, after a night of intense leaking - which I did not notice, the water flooded the entire room to the level of about 11 inches and poured out to the entire hallway. Many of my electronic equipments also broke because of this, including 1 Mac, 1 Ipad and 1 Iphone of mine, plus many of my clothes. After this leakage casualty, the manager of the hotel even refused to compensate my lost and try to avoid all the responsibilities by calling the police to pressing me; he only accept paying 50%. Not only he did not respect his customers, he did not even respect his reputation of this hotel. This causing me and my family a huge waste of time and stress. I will never came back here again. I am strongly not recommend to come to this hotel, because I do not want any other guest to have the same experience like mine. I came here to have a peaceful vacation, not a stressful one. Another thing beside, the altitude of the employees here is very unwelcome to customers.

Came here for a few nights as apart of at tour. The location is very central, on a busy street opposite the park, but there are few bars, restaurants and supermarkets close by. Parts of the building are renovated and some not. The facilities are variable with no bar, just a fridge. The rooms are also variable as is the cleaning of them. Don’t get a front room as road noise is high. Some windows are hard to close and the TV has no European language channels or news. The bed in our room was a king size base with a double mattress, so we kept catching our legs on the corner. The service is slow and variable quality, while the breakfast was limited to eggs, bread and jam. Nothing is really bad, but also not very good either…

윙크 호텔 경험 정말 좋았어요. 특히 니키와 더스틴 굉장히 친절하게 환영했어요. 바에서 맛있는 메뉴 추천하고 혼자있음에도 불구하고 재밌었어요. 호치민 다시 방문하면 여기로 올겁니다. 너무 고맙고 다시 보면 너무 반가울것같아요. 감사합니다 윙크 호텔! Had an amazing experience at Wink Hotel. Especially Nicky and Dustin who were above and beyond welcoming. Recommended good drinks and kept me accompanied. I'll definitely visit Wink when I'm back in HCM. N*** 위치는 중심가 근처에 있으며 시장, 약국 등 편의시설에 인접해 있습니다. 전문적인 지원 웹사이트 시스템. 주방 조리기구, 밥솥 등 가구가 완비되어 있지만 식탁은 없습니다. 시트와 베갯잇은 꽤 낡았고, 색깔도 어두웠으며, 욕실 세면대는 너무 낡아서 큰 구멍이 찢겨 있었습니다. 살충제를 뿌리고 청소를 하지 않아 방 곳곳에 바퀴벌레가 남아있습니다. 식기류는 깨끗이 씻어서 사용하는 것을 잊지 마세요. 방에 방음이 안되어 소음이 너무 심해요.

Apartment-style hotel with comfortable rooms, fully equipped with modern luxury equipment. The hotel building is located in the heart of District 1, next to the park, market, church. And there are many convenience stores around. Especially, the building had 2 basement for parking. Very suitable for a trip with your whole family. The only limitation is that there is no breakfast or room service. But the kitchen is fully equipped, as well as near the market, so you can prepare meals easily for your whole family.

한때 사이공이라고 불리웠던 호치민은 현재 베트남에서 가장 활기 넘치는 상업 및 문화중심지로 마치 파리에 있는 듯한 정서를 불러올 정도로 도시 전역에 아름다운 프랑스 양식의 건출물들이 즐비해 있습니다. 호치민을 방문했을 때 꼭 추천하는 관광 명소는 호치민 노트르담 대성당(Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon), 사이공 중앙 우체국(Central Post Office), 시청(City Hall) 입니다. 이러한 명소들이 대부분 도심 지역에 위치해 있기 때문에 하루의 시간을 내면 걸어서 충분히 둘러볼 수 있습니다. 그리고 호치민을 둘러싸고 있는 매콩강(Mekong River)을 투어하게 되면 <영화> 연인(The lover, 1992)에서 등장한 장면 중에 남자 주인공과 여자 주인공이 만나는 장면이 나오는 지역을 둘러볼 수 있습니다. 또한 꾸찌 땅굴(Củ Chi tunnels)을 방문하게 되면 전쟁 당시에 사용된 탱크와 헬리콥터 그리고 벙커의 잔해물들을 볼 수 있습니다. 호치민의 도심에 있는 대부분의 관광지들은 걸어서 이동이 가능하고 도심 인근에 있는 곳들은 버스를 통해서 간편하게 갈 수 있기 때문에 주로 도심 투어는 이틀 정도를 추천하고 있습니다.

호치민은 베트남에서도 적도 부근에 더 가까운 남쪽편에 위치해 있기 때문에 연중 내내 기온이 높으며 계절은 우기와 건기로 분류되어 있습니다. 건기 시즌은 11월에 시작해서 5월 중순까지 지속되며 날씨는 덥고 비는 거의 내리지 않습니다. 이 때 가장 더운 시기는 4월에서 5월 중순입니다. 심지어 습도까지도 80%에서 90%까지 올라가기 때문에 매우 후덥지근한 날씨가 이 시기에 지속됩니다. 우기는 5월에 시작하여 10월까지 지속되며 대략 1시간 가량 지속되는 소나기가 매일 내립니다. 비가 내리고 난 뒤에는 날씨가 매우 상쾌하지만 메콩강 삼각주 부근에서는 종종 홍수가 일어나기도 합니다. 호치민을 여행하기 가장 좋은 시기는 12월에서 2월 사이로 날씨가 상대적으로 선선하며 비가 많이 내리지 않습니다.

위에서 언급한 것처럼 호치민에는 프랑스 양식의 건축물들이 많이 있는데 도심을 돌아다니다 보면 이러한 유형으로 지어진 고급 호텔들을 손쉽게 찾아볼 수 있습니다. 특히 벤탄시장(Ben Thanh Market) 부근으로 이러한 고급 호텔들이 주변에 많이 있는데 그 이유는 이 곳 근처에 편의시설과 쇼핑시설이 잘 갖추어져 있을 뿐만 아니라 통일궁(Independence Palace) 그리고 호치민 노트르담 대성당(Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon)과 같은 잘 알려진 관광 명소가 걸어서 갈 수 있을 만큼 가까이에 있기 때문입니다. 또한 팜 응우 라오 거리(Pham Ngu Lao Street)에는 백패커들이 머무를 수 있는 가성비 좋은 숙박 시설들이 다양하게 갖추어져 있어 저예산으로 여행하는 사람들에게 추천하고 있으며 차이나타운도 지리적으로 좋은 위치에 있기 때문에 인근에 머무는 것을 권장하고 있습니다. 참고로 호치민 국제 공항 혹은 사이공 기차역과 같이 교통 시설과 가까운 곳에도 숙박 시설들이 있긴 하지만 주변으로 돌아다닐 만한 곳이 많이 없기 때문에 교통 시설을 급히 이용해야 하는 상황에 처해 있는 제한적인 상황에서만 이곳을 이용하는 경우가 있습니다.
