파크사이드 호텔(Parkside Hotel)

우리는 새벽 3시에 도착했지만 들어갈 수 없었다. 뒷주차장에서 자기가 셰프라고 말하는 청년은 열쇠를 받으면 우리를 들여보낼 수 있지만 그가 관절(그의 말)을 피울 때까지 기다릴 수만 있다면 그가 언어에 돌을 맞았고(그의 말) 부적절하다고 말했습니다. 여자 앞에서의 inuendos 나는 그가 확실히 돌에 맞았다는 것을 믿을 수밖에 없습니다. 8시간 운전 후 우리는 그냥 앉아서 잠을 잘 수 있는 침대가 필요했습니다. 우리는 문에 도착했고 그는 풀밭에서 열쇠를 잃어버린 것 같았고 누가 그를 들여보내달라고 루크라고 부르는 소리를 지르기 시작했습니다. 2년 동안 호텔에서 셰프를 했다고 한다. 우리는 여행 별장과 프리미어가 모두 예약되었기 때문에 차에서 몇 시간 잠을 자야 했습니다. 다음날 아침 9시 30분쯤 호텔로 돌아가 무슨 일이 일어났는지 확인했고 정문 주변에 아무도 우리가 떠난 10/15분 동안 붙어서 잠긴 다른 모든 문을 열지 않았습니다. 아래층 창문을 통해 보이는 호텔 자체는 사랑스럽고 깨끗해 보였습니다. 끔찍한 경험. 우리는 그날 아침 컴브리아를 떠났습니다.다시는. 그들이 그렇게 직원을 고용한다면 나는 그들이 여전히 어떻게 거래하고 있는지 솔직히 모르겠습니다.

Not really one for writing reviews but we feel this really deserves it. First time we’ve been since the new chef has been in and what a difference. Absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch meal. Staff exceptional, the chef came out to chat with customers and you couldn’t meet a nicer guy. Fantastic food, great staff, unreal value (kids eat free on a Sunday) this will be our new regular place. Amazing all round.

We stayed at Parkside Hotel, Cleator Moor, while walking the Coast to Coast Walk (organised by Contours). Lovely hotel. The hotel's football team had just won their division so the bar was jumping when we arrived - it would usually be much quieter. The manager / chef / head barman Matthew was very efficient coping with what might have been their busiest night of the year. Great dinner, great breakfast & Matthew even organised packed lunches for us.

Went for meal through the day as 2 couples,celebrating an upcoming birthday .From the minute we stepped into the hotel,the staff were friendly, and the service was great from them all.Head chef was front of house,( only been there 5 weeks) and he was great to talk to, advise on the menu and came to chat,served our meals,and introduced us to the comi chef who had freshly cooked our food - which was superb,all 3 courses.We will definitely be back as we are local to the area 😀

The food was amazing, compliments to Matt the chef… and Lauren was a great help in our task to get drunk… all in all, very accommodating, I’ll definitely be back as the service and food quality (especially for the price) is unmatchable in this local area!

The hotel is situated next to a main road with lots of noise if you are staying at the front of the property. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The poor bit for me was that there was little phone reception and the Internet does not work. I addressed this at the time and was politely told that the Internet is poor, poor I think meant non existent. Not recommended for people on business. Parking is limited but lots of street parking available.

A group of us dined here on Friday night. Highly recommended. Chef/Barman/Boss was top class. He was informative, patient and efficient. We could see he was busy but he made time to explain the menu and how long we'd be waiting for our food. Well done sir. Food was good too. Recommended

Fantastic food and service will definitely be back. The kids loved the food, and there was plenty of it. The staff are friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble and they catered for our daughter and her needs. I had the Sunday lunch and the beef was absolutely beautiful.

Been to Parkside Hotel tonight for food. First of all they were extremely accommodating as we didn't call for a table until we'll after 8 o clock and they fit us in no problem what so ever. The service was brilliant. The lady that served us was quick, polite, pleasant and extremely professional. The food arrived in record time and can only be described as bloody tremendous. I got Surf and Turf and Gary got the Paraide burger. Both absolutely top quality and beyond delicious! The chef even come out to have a little chat and introduce himself. All I all it was an absolute pleasure! Could not recommend enough.
