Absolutely beautiful country house b&b. Wonderful location in the gorgeous sussex countryside with stunning views.lovely thoughtful care and service by Sally.lots of great attention to detail in the rooms.bed was super comfortable, Good quality toiletries, bottled water,tea and coffee making facilities,bottle opener,hairdryer, cotton wool, USB sockets. Breakfast was amazing, great choice,freshly made beautifully presented high quality food.nothing was too much trouble for Sally. Highly recommend this lovely house if you're looking for somewhere to stay in sussex. Only 25mins from the coast

A wonderful 6 nights spent here in the heart of the countryside. If you are looking to escape to the country for some peace and quiet then this is perfect. Wonderful character filled house. Perfect location to visit Herstmonceux Castle, Hastings, Battle, Pevensey, Eastbourne, Brighton. Great local walks for wildlife spotting. Amazing views. Exceptional breakfast! Sally is fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

We originally planned to stay just one night but had such a wonderful experience we could not tear ourselves away. We chose the Balcony room, fabulous to wake up to a wonderful view and birdsong and to leave the doors open for a lovely breeze. Plenty of space in the en-suite ,bed was huge and very comfortable. If the icing on the cake was the excellent breakfast then the beautiful gardens were the bonus win-absolutely fabulous stay and would love the chance to go again.

Absolutely stunning B and B - spent a wonderful weekend here 7th - 9th July. Sally was so welcoming and she even made sure our little dog Baxter had a sausage for his breakfast, ground and house are beautiful and with excellent views 10/10 would definitely stay there again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟

Very attractive venue with high quality facilities, and welcoming hosts. The surrounding countryside is stunningly attractive and peaceful, and would be a great base for walking and exploring that part of the County.

Perfect! In every way. Sally the owner couldn’t have been more charming. Rooms spotless and the views were amazing. If this review sounds gushing read some of my others. My wife and I visited Eastbourne from a railway station nearby (Norman bay ) well worth a visit. Local pub was waste of time on a Tuesday evening, no food as it was quize night. Other pub 2 miles away said it was fully booked.

Lovely short break with my husband. The house is stunning. Room was lovely,clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. We were made to feel so welcome and will definitely return. A perfect place for a quiet relaxing break. You can hear the peace

Enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast was very good, Owners very welcoming, room was very hot indeed but as an old building heat travels upwards. Quite a drive to any town etc. for an evening meal as a rural setting so very quiet and peaceful.
