We stayed here during the 'wine fight' festival and wanted somewhere central so most things would be in walking distance. Given a few comments about noise we were slightly trepidatious about how things would be in the middle of a huge event for the town. We drove to Haro and followed the instructions for parking in a designated space in one of the side streets behind the hotel - this was a little challenging when trying to follow the satnav, as some streets were already blocked off for the festival, but we eventually found it and parked up. The hotel was only a couple of minutes' walk away. Arriving at the hotel we got to reception only to find it was locked (although the front door to the lobby was open). I rang the duty manager who was already on his way to meet us. Very quick and friendly check-in, and we got to our room. Thankfully we were at the back of the hotel (the view from a forward facing room over the square would have been good on other occasions, but would be too noisy during the festival). The room was large, well equipped and (importantly) triple-glazed, so there was very little noise coming from the bands playing outside. Aircon worked well, and there was plenty of hanging space and a huge bathroom. The bed was also comfy. Given the hotel doesn't have a restaurant there isn't much else to comment on, but we found this a great location with friendly staff and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to other travellers who are looking for a budget-friendly central location.

Property is located directly on the main square and exits directly into a restuarant with many many other optinos within a 5 minute walk. You can get to the winery's with a quick walk across the river, meaning there is no concern with driving. Aside from location, the staff were super friendly and communicated well up front to organize parking. The room was simple, but clean and had everything you need. Considering it was on the main square the room was silent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Haro.

This hotel is located in Haro's main beautiful, charming square, Plaza de la Paz, where there are enough dining options (the "Herradura" and all its bars -San Martín Street + Santo Tomás street- is just 1 minute away), plus the tourist information office. The "Barrio de la Estación", where the majority of wineries are, is also within walking distance. Talking about food, it is true that this hotel doesn't offer breakfast because they don't have any facilities for it. That's why -in our opinion-, it is a 3-star hotel instead of a 4-star one. However, the room and the ensuite bathroom were super modern, spacious, comfortable, quiet, clean, pleasant, tastefully decorated and well-equipped (TV, mini-fridge, safe, good wifi and even a nice dressing space between the bedroom and the bathroom). Our room didn't have a view of the square though, but this hotel and our stay were the best of our trip around La Rioja and Euskadi.

The check in process was easy, and the hotel is as advertised. Our room was in the back of the property so it was quiet , the room description was accurate, not to mention it was clean and spacious , the lay out was fantastic.the A/C worked perfectly. Regarding the location , the hotel is in the centre of town so it is easy 10 min walk to Barrio de la estacion , where most of the wineries are located. We were happy with our stay . As a tip , not all the wineries have the same hours , so take that into account when planning your visit , seems most of them are open between 11 to 3 .

Wonderful location on the square. Parking as directed by the very helpful Javier about 350metres away and very secure. There is load/unload space close to the hotel. Restaurants close by, easy stroll to the famous Bodegas. Rooms are clean functional and comfortable. There is no restaurant but you are in the square where coffee and croissants are available. There is also a fabulous wine shop around the corner owned by the hotel group Would I return? YES

It was a perfect location. Friendly staff. Great room overlooking the plaza. Great rate. Wish we could have stayed another night.

Hotel is located in a beautifully renovated old house in a heart of Haro. It has charm of a historical place with comfort of today's standards.

Really impressed with this small hotel, it was absolutely perfect for our 2 night stay in Haro. Perfectly located right on the main square. Our room was gorgeous, beautifully decorated with a really lovely bathroom and even a separate dressing area! We had a lovely view from the balcony, across the square and also had a view of the sunset. A few minutes walk from most of the wineries and we had a large number of bars which served pintxos to choose from right next to the hotel, but struggled to find a sit down restaurant on the days we were there - I think there may be more options at the weekend though.
