We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is wonderful, and full of historical interest. The building itself is beautiful, particularly the main reception area. The room was very comfortable and very clean, and we slept well (despite the church bells that continued through the night). The staff were delightful; charming and very eager to help, even though they must get asked the same questions day in and day out! The bar was great, and really efficiently run by some very kind and charming hosts. The underground car parking (for which we paid extra) was a tight squeeze for our (rather large) car but worked well, and there were EV chargers to use. Despite the entrance fee, a wander around the cathedral is well worth it, to learn more about the place's history and Saint Dominic. And, of course, to see the chickens! A dinner recommendation would be Los Caballeros, which is about a minute's walk away from the hotel. Fabulous food and delightful service; it's rare that we leave an establishment with kisses for the maitre d'!!

I received cold very strong undrinkable coffee for breakfast. I explained ton staff but it came back the same way . Cold coffee is unacceptable and I resent paying 47 euros for two very poor breakfasts

The half board package is super value. We had a delightful stay at this beautiful Parador situated right in the centre of the town but with good access for arriving by car. Room excellent and we were very efficiently handled when our toilet flush broke it was repaired within the hour. Excellent service. Food in the restaurant was superb and the breakfast buffet all you would expect at a top quality hotel. All in all a superb two night stay.

Asking me to write 100 words as a minimum is sychophantic and pleading for praise. Just be as professional and dignified as the staff at this Parador.

History all around and a really comfortable place to stay. Restaurant quality and service really excellent

What an outstanding property! Wow, staff was great, room was fantastic! Location in next to the cathedral! Advise you drive to front door, drop off your luggage, then park your car outside the village. Great Breakfast, buy it as there is nowhere nearby for food before 1100. Dinners start at nearby restaurants at 8PM.

This Parador is not easy to find in a mass of small streets but when you arrive it is beautifully situated in a lovely historic square. There is parking behind the hotel which is really useful. The hotel is a wonderfully interesting historic building. Our room was fine except for a persistent smell from the bathroom drains, solved by running water into the system. The view of the square was lovely if noisy.

We visited the restaurant of this Parador and it was an awesome experience: the food was beautiful, the service excellent and the atmosphere was great. We did not stay at the Parador (just passing through Santo Domingo) but the facility looked extremely impressive and full of character. All Paradores in Spain are great places!
