"I usually enjoy staying at the Clarion because it is so close to the Casino and Arundel Mills Mall and I often like to do staycations; however, this time my stay was not great. For one I saw not one but three roaches, the guests are loud and if youre on the first floor you hear all kinds of yelling throughout the night. Secondly, the bedding had some stains on it. Thirdly, the hot water heater was not working and because we booked through a third party there was no remedy. Even for individuals who paid through the site were given little to no remedy and were met with lackluster attitudes from the front desk staff. One night I came in and was going to sit at the desk to eat my food like I had done the previous few days and the chair was gone... no explanation. Someone came in the room and took the I usually enjoy staying at the Clarion because it is conveniently located near the Casino and Arundel Mills Mall, and I often like to do staycations there. However, this time my experience was disappointing. First, I encountered not one, but three roaches in my room. The guests were also quite loud, and if you're on the first floor, you can hear a lot of yelling throughout the night. Additionally, the bedding had some stains on it. To make matters worse, the hot water heater was not functioning, and because I booked through a third party, there was no remedy available. Even guests who booked directly through the site received little to no help and were met with lackluster attitudes from the front desk staff. One night, when I returned to my room and planned to sit at the desk to eat my food as I had done the previous days, I found that the chair was missing. There was no explanation given. Someone came into the room and took the chair, but didn’t clean the room. This was very odd and, quite frankly, unsettling for me as a woman alone. Unfortunately, I am not sure I will return."
