What a pleasure to arrive at Lanka Beach Bungalows in Tangalle, on the beachfront, after 10 days in the Sri Lankan countryside climbing mountains. A small cocoon with only 6 rooms, feet in the sand with an incredible infinity pool... Just reading this sentence makes you feel relaxed. This is what awaits you at Lanka Beach Bungalows! On the whole southern coast of Sri Lanka, the prices of hotels can climb very quickly. Indeed, it is very difficult to find an affordable hotel, especially in Tangalle where the beaches are huge and crowded with tourists. Well, at the Lanka Beach Bungalows, you will get 75€ a night, including a delicious breakfast. The hotel is also a restaurant and offers quality food at lunch and dinner, at reasonable prices. The best value for money in the area! Moreover, by staying here, you will have a privileged access to one of the most beautiful beaches of the island - an ideal place to admire the sumptuous spectacle offered by the sunset. We spent 3 days in this little paradise and it was clearly not enough. As frequent travelers, we are used to visiting many hotels around the world, and we can assure you that if you plan to spend some days in Tangalle, you can't miss Lanka Beach Bungalows!!!

We booked Lanka Bungalows late on as we had concerns about the nearby resort we had originally booked. Of the 7 places we stayed in Sri Lanka, Lanka Bungalows was our favourite (and we stayed in some really good hotels). In a wonderful location beside a deserted beach and own pool. Staff were friendly and excellent. Breakfast was a joy and dinners were good. Our balcony room was great, spacious, private with limited views of the Indian Ocean. Lovely bathroom. Loved hearing the Indian Ocean breakers in the distance, Manager arranged a tuk tuk trip for us to a local temple and Tangalle which was fun. At nearby Divine Spa we enjoyed an excellent massage. We enjoyed early morning walks along the deserted beach. For a change of scenery we had lunch at nearby local resorts. The one downside we booked a upstairs balcony room and confirmed by private message and were told that is what we would get. On arrival we found our balcony room was occupied and allocated a downstairs room! We complained and presented our booking confirmation. This resulted in the manager getting us the balcony room for 3 of our 4 nights. Whilst the manager was helpful he really needs to smile more and take an interest in the clients. Still it was a wonderful stay and would advise friends to stay if visiting Sri Lanka.

It is a beautiful small resort directly at the beach. There's a nice tropical garden, a swimming pool with lots of pool beds and a restaurant as well, everything is maintenanced very well and incredibly clean. The staff is very friendly and the food was amazing. Bpth western as well as Sri Lankan dishes. Luxurious rooms with beautiful furniture, lots of amenities and nice little details. We had an amazing stay, best value for money - we will definitely come back.

wonderful view, quiet, clean place, with attention to details, very kind staff. I warmly recommend. After the fishing game, they offered to cook the fish we caught and fulfilled all our culinary wishes😊. And the massage at Divine Spa was the best that I ever do

Sehr schönes, kleines Hotel direkt am Strand. Die Bungalows sind groß, ebenso das Bad. Alles sauber und erholsam. Wir haben die Ruhe und die langen Strandspaziergänge genossen, auch in den Wellen baden war möglich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben sowohl im Hotelrestaurant als auch in den umliegenden Familienrestaurants sehr gut gegessen, vor allem frischen Fisch

Eigentlich buchten wir diese Anlage nur, weil die erst gebuchte Anlage unsere Buchung einfach storniert hat - zu unserem Glück! Wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl hier. Uns wurde zwar versprochen, dass wir für unsere 4-köpfige Familie eine Unterkunft im Erdgeschoss und 1.Stock (1 Haus) haben und schlussendlich waren unsere 2 Unterkünfte getrennt - aber das schöne Ambiente entschädigte uns für die erste Enttäuschung. Die Zimmer waren sauber und angenehm gross. Der Pool mit der Meersicht einfach nur toll! und die Liegen direkt am Meer ein Highlight! Das Meer war wild - aber trotzdem hatten wir unseren Spass. Wir buchten HP: so konnten wir eine Suppe auswählen - eine Hauptspeise - ein Dessert. Das Essen war fantastisch - auch die Fruchtsäfte sehr lecker! Auch das Frühstück konnte man auslesen - jedem das seine! Und immer mit sehr leckeren frischen Früchten! Wir unternahmen einen Spaziergang zur nahen Lagune und entdeckten viele Tiere wie Schlangen und Varane. Unbedingt auch eine Bootstour buchen zur nahen Lagune: ein tolles Erlebnis. Ganz spontan (20:30 Uhr) buchte uns die Unterkunft ein TukTuk, damit wir die Schildkröten-Aufzuchtstation besuchen konnten - wir kamen zwar zu spät - konnten dafür länger die Schildkröten beobachten - alleine mit dem Ranger. Vielen Dank allen Mitarbeitern von Lanka Beach Bungalows, die uns einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt bescherten!

Tolles Areal direkt am Meer. Süsse und bequeme Bungalow, Restaurant mit sehr freundlichem Personal und sehr gutem Essen. Prima Pool. Wir hatten die benachbarte und dazugehörige Villa gemietet und waren wirklich sehr begeistert. Ein toller Aufenthalt, den wir nur empfehlen können.

Wir hatten das Bungalow direkt in erster Reihe mit Blick auf den Pool und waren 4 Tage lang die einzige Gäste. Ein perfekter Ort zum Abschalten und herunterfahren. Der Service war excellent, jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt. Die Zimmer sind groß, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. 5km Strand fast für uns alleine. Was will man mehr!
