Wild Culture Yala

Wild Culture is in a remote location, although only 25 minutes to the Yala NP entrance. Its remoteness is what makes it so perfect. A beautiful property with well kept grounds and spacious, well equipped lodge type rooms, they have everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's so peaceful and the huge pool never has more than a handful of people in it so a great place to relax. The staff are friendly and efficient, the food is delicious (although you have to make your menu selections in advance since there are never more than around 20 guests at the property) We found it to be a perfect location although it might be a little too quiet for some people.

A stunning setting made all the better by the incredible staff. Each room is secluded with stunning views. The pool was excellent and very smartly done. We have a family room which was beautiful, clean and vast. The best bit were the staff - they gave us a safari pack and had breakfast ready for when we returned. The food was lovely, a fantastic choice for all preferences and cooked to perfect. Breakfast was brilliant!

We had an amazing stay here for two nights. The rooms were large and bright, with great amenities. Lakmal and Upul were helpful staff who went above and beyond for us - even helping us set up archery, shooting and mini golf on site! The restaurant also provided us with wonderful meals during our stay.

Wild Culture Yala is a wonderful luxury boutique hotel that really stands out in every way. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and offer great comfort—perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure in Yala National Park. One of the true highlights here is the food; the kitchen is absolutely top-notch, serving up creative and delicious dishes that showcase both local flavors and international favorites. Every meal feels special. What really makes Wild Culture Yala shine is the staff and organization. The team is incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with anything you need, from organizing safaris to arranging special dinners or activities. The whole experience feels smooth and thoughtfully managed. If you’re looking for a unique, high-end getaway with amazing food and service, Wild Culture Yala is an excellent choice!

What an amazing small boutique safari lodge. We had a suite room which was large and beautifully furnished with all amenities. Swam daily in the pool which is very large and surrounded by an assortment of loungers. Upul looked after us in an outstanding way and couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. He even prepared some chilli paste for us to take home as he knew we liked spice. We had two days of safari with Camp Leopard and had great sightings including two leopards and a rock python. Definitely our favourite place to stay in Sri Lanka and highly recommend visiting.

Hidden away we found this oasis of peace and tranquility, for our stay in the Yala National Park, we were greeted with an ice cold fruit juice and were taken to our amazing rooms, the swimming pool is a little way away from the main building so would not disturb anyone wanting to rest, the bar was at the pool and the range of food and beverages was great, also you could have a go at shooting archery and mini-golf all free. The staff were very attentive without being obtrusive and made us feel welcome at all time, the choice of food was varied and good, we ordered a pack breakfast as we were leaving for the safari at 5.30 am, which was delicious, we would recommend this hotel.
