BbaraoGuild**”BAD: Beware of the 'Upgrade'”**
Our priority when booking was the room size and budget, so we reserved a 32m² City View room.
At check-in, the hotel staff offered us an ”upgrade.” He said that for an additional €25 per day, we could ”upgrade,” so we agreed.
However, while the room did have a Sea View, the size was downgraded to just 21m². I told them that paying €25 to have a smaller room was a downgrade, but they insisted that the view had been upgraded.
I asked to be moved back to the room we originally booked, but the staff ignored my request for an entire day.
Let me ask you this: if you went to see a new landscape, and the view changed, how would you describe it? You wouldn’t say the landscape itself was ”upgraded,” would you? You’d say the view was different or better.
The following day, I finally got a response from the staff. They told me I’d need to pay an additional €70 per day if I wanted a 32m² Sea View room.
While the hotel facilities and scenery are excellent, the staff are focused entirely on business and seem to aim to squeeze every extra euro from their guests.
In the end, we ended up paying the €25.

리리뷰어I booked this hotel because it was in a quiet location , the room had double glazed windows that allowed me to sleep soundly for more than 8 hours each night and I could reach the city easily by taking the bus.
FYI the taxi fares from and to the San Sebastian airport was 90€ in total, which the hotel has no say on or any other hotels for that matter.

리리뷰어The location is good if you have a car, is not close (walking distance) to the city, but at the same time really good location. Service is just fantastic, everyone was nice with us and welling to help if we asked for something. the Snack bar (cafeteria) staff is the best of the best, as well as the housekeeping staff. The only bad thing was the AC, we have no idea if it was ”warm” because the new ordinance or because something else, but unfortunately the hotel's location is so close to a highway, the room was quiet and good, but we try to sleep a little bit cooler, and with the window open was just imposible

Riesige Terrasse, kleines, aber genügsames Zimmer (gibt auch größere)
Nur das Frühstück im Café unten ist nicht zu empfehlen. Zudem könnten die Kissen auf der Terrasse sauberer sein (diese sind dem Regen komplett ausgesetzt).
Die Lage ist phänomenal, die Mitarbeiter extrem freundlich

리리뷰어If you are looking for a place to sleep and an excellent location for a cheaper price than the surrounding hotels, this is a great option! However, I had not stayed in a pension before and I didn’t realize that we would be sharing a bathroom with 5-6 other people.
The workers were polite, professional and accommodating! They provided coffee, tea and water.
