BbaraoGuild**”BAD: Beware of the 'Upgrade'”**
Our priority when booking was the room size and budget, so we reserved a 32m² City View room.
At check-in, the hotel staff offered us an ”upgrade.” He said that for an additional €25 per day, we could ”upgrade,” so we agreed.
However, while the room did have a Sea View, the size was downgraded to just 21m². I told them that paying €25 to have a smaller room was a downgrade, but they insisted that the view had been upgraded.
I asked to be moved back to the room we originally booked, but the staff ignored my request for an entire day.
Let me ask you this: if you went to see a new landscape, and the view changed, how would you describe it? You wouldn’t say the landscape itself was ”upgraded,” would you? You’d say the view was different or better.
The following day, I finally got a response from the staff. They told me I’d need to pay an additional €70 per day if I wanted a 32m² Sea View room.
While the hotel facilities and scenery are excellent, the staff are focused entirely on business and seem to aim to squeeze every extra euro from their guests.
In the end, we ended up paying the €25.

리리뷰어I stayed in a ”city view” room during my solo trip through the Basque region and it was such a comfortable room I forgot about not having sea view.
Though I do recommend to go to the cafe to have the beachside experience if you get the city view room because it overlooks a construction site on the back street.
The hotel was an easy 15min walk with my heavy suitcase from the intercity bus center, just beside the beach. The room was squeaky clean with a large bathtub, and the bed so comfortable I could not get up to go see the sunset! Also helpful kind staff and great location for getting around the city on foot or by bus. I went to the Chillida Leku museum it was 30min by bus no25.
Highly recommend!

리리뷰어I booked this hotel because it was in a quiet location , the room had double glazed windows that allowed me to sleep soundly for more than 8 hours each night and I could reach the city easily by taking the bus.
FYI the taxi fares from and to the San Sebastian airport was 90€ in total, which the hotel has no say on or any other hotels for that matter.

MMary070Все в отеле прекрасно ! Начиная с ресепшен! Очень приятный улыбчивый персонал ! Удобная кровать ! Небольшой номер , больше подходит для одного человека либо без большого багажа вдвоем . В лобби всегда есть вода с лимоном ! Завтрак вкусный и сытный ! Для меня самое то !!!

PPatriciaEn general el hotel está muy bien, reservamos el desayuno incluido que estaba muy variado, fruta, huevos salchichas, zumos, bollería etc, la ubicación del hotel es buena pero al estar cerca de la carretera se escucha un poco el tráfico por la noche aunque no es exagerado. El hotel cuenta con restaurante cafetería y es muy cómodo si llegas por la noche donde puedes cenar, a destacar el trato del personal excelente. Calidad precio excelente

Need to take a bus ride to old town via bus or cab.
Journey is abt 15-20mins.
Breakfast at the hotel was decent.
Bed was comfy but not the sofa bed, which can feel the metal frame when my kid sleep on it.
Relatively value for $ if don’t mind the bus journey. No amenities around the hotel.
Good for people who drives as there is free parking available.

리리뷰어If you are looking for a place to sleep and an excellent location for a cheaper price than the surrounding hotels, this is a great option! However, I had not stayed in a pension before and I didn’t realize that we would be sharing a bathroom with 5-6 other people.
The workers were polite, professional and accommodating! They provided coffee, tea and water.

리리뷰어호텔은 해변과 구시가지까지 도보로 약 30분 거리에 있어 위치가 좋습니다. 호텔 건물에는 작은 옥상 수영장과 자쿠지가 있습니다. 복도와 화장실에서 소리가 크게 들립니다. 방이 제대로 청소되지 않았습니다. 바닥이 더러웠습니다. 호텔에는 전기 자동차를 위한 무료 충전소가 있는 주차장이 있습니다. 하지만 주차장이 매우 좁습니다. 맛있고 다양한 아침 식사.
