Hua She International Youth Hostel

Great location and clean but the AC shuts off at 2am and the room is so hot and musty during summer. Kept waking up becos it was so hot and had to cancel my second night as it was simply unbearable. What a waste

This place really nice and worth the stay i was on my way to Yangzhou and i spend a night here i really recommend it

Two things only are positive about this place - location and big rooms. Such a putty that a nice place like this with so much potential is not using it! It was freezing cold (colder inside than outside) and they refused to turn on the AC because of electricity bills. No toilet paper (no comment). There was only freezing cold water at the tap (they have even removed the hot tap handles). No explanation on how to get inside, that you need use a chip, I had to ask myself and ask as well for an explanation. No information about the area or what to do, not a social hostel at all. It was relatively clean, but cold and very moist inside the apartment.

Positives: Very close to the train station, clean bedsheets, good view, quiet roommates. Negatives: you need a password or a key to access to the building and then to make work the elevator, I lost 30 minutes just to be able to get there, why? Because they just send you a we chat account and that's all, they suppose all foreigners have we chat. It will be much easier to send the password and explain about the elevator, that's all. And there is just one bathroom for all the place.
