호텔 메트로폴리타노(Hotel Metropolitano)

Sleazy management gave me the smallest, most awful room I've ever seen, even though my reservation with ******* clearly said I had paid for a DOUBLE ROOM. No elevator, so I had to walk 3 floors with 2 suitcases, and no one helped me. I could barely fit in this tiny room, where I couldn't even sit on the toilet without my legs being totally pressed against the wall. Shower was dirty and in horrible condition. Water pressure was very low and there were little roaches roaming around the hotel. This has to be the absolute WORST hotel experience I've ever had!!

This is the absolute WORST hotel I've ever stayed in. It might as well be a hostel instead. Bad location, ugly, dirty, small, no elevator, almost in ruins (I have pictures to prove it). I paid for a DOUBLE room on ******* ans was given the SMALLEST room ever instead, saying I needed to pay more if I wanted what I had already paid for!! Management sucks and the main guy only wants to find reasons to charge you more for the worst accommodations. Trust me, DO NOT stay here unless your only other choice is to sleep on the street!!

Great little place! Not much to look at on the outside, but once inside, it's all you need! Clean bed, en suite shower, toilet and sink and TV. It comes with Netflix and WiFi. Corner stores for sodas/snacks, with restaurants and shopping a few blocks away. This is in Zona 1, which is being "reinvented." Not the best, not the worst area. Staff were super nice. 15 minutes from the airport. I would stay here again! Gracias por todo!

Hotel Metropolitano is great! I was visiting Guatemala City for a long weekend on a solo tourist trip and was looking for an inexpensive, centrally-located hotel. Hotel Metropolitano was perfect. My room was comfortable and clean. It was a short walk to the tourist sites in central Guatemala City. The service was wonderful - everyone that I came across was kind and helpful. I'd highly recommend this hotel for those looking for a budget friendly hotel in the city.

Acesibility is close to the downtown it is too expensive for the kind of place it is
