We've modernized while preserving it's historical charm. Enjoy curling up in cozy bedrooms, one with its own infrared sauna. Then you can hang out in the main room equipped with 55" 4K Smart TV with Sonos surround sound and log into your favorite streaming service (Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, etc) to enjoy music sipping a local beverage in front of the picture window or relax by watching your favorite movie. We (often) have beer on tap in our kitchen kegerator from local Monumental Beer Works and more importantly purified reverse osmosis water to hydrate your Grand Valley adventures.805 is the building on the property that sits closest to South Avenue, and guests typically access the home from the front door, which faces guest parking on South Avenue. Follow a concrete sidewalk to the front door. There is a motion detecting light to provide a well lit path after dark to the house. There is a security camera both at the front door and the back door of the house for safety. There are NO CAMERAS in the house. Please note that there are three stairs up to the front porch and three stairs up to the rear of the house, thus guests will need to be able to safely navigate a small number of stairs to access the property. There are no stairs in the home.We have a free, dedicated parallel parking space for guests on South Avenue. There is free on the street parking on 8th street. 805 is a 5-10 minute walk to the best places on Main Street in Downtown GJ. AND bring your favorite bike! The Riverfront Trail (paved) can be accessed in 4 min by bike, and goes all the way to Fruita. The new Grand Junction Temple is within walking distance from the Lakeside. St. Mary’s Hospital, Colorado Mesa University, Suplizio Field and Stocker Stadium are very close by as well. The I-70 interstate nearby will make you only 20 minutes from Palisade, known as Colorado wine country. Within an hour you can be at the amazing Powderhorn Ski Resort on the beautiful Grand Mesa. To the west is Fruita with its world class mountain biking. The Lakeside is the perfect home base for adventure or for a relaxing getaway. The open concept in the main living space is clean and inviting. Warm up in the winter time with a hot cup of tea by the cozy gas fireplace after a great day on the slopes. You can breathe in the fresh Colorado air from the small private balcony. Enjoy a glass of local wine while overlooking the lovely courtyard below and its peaceful waterfall. There is WiFi available to keep you connected. The full kitchen has all the essentials to make you feel right at home. We tried to set it up with everything you may need There is a four piece dinette and 3 bar stools for the breakfast bar. The spacious master bedroom has 1 king sized adjustable bed and a dresser. The second bedroom has 1 queen sized bed and a dresser. Both bedrooms have black out shades and are comfortably appointed. The 5 piece bathroom has a separate toilet/shower room. The master bedroom is adjoining to the bathroom. Basic toiletries are provided for your comfort. Next door, is the complex’s private wellness facility offering an indoor salt water pool, hot tub, sauna and a small fitness room. There are restrooms,changing rooms and showers available. Take a refreshing morning swim to get your day started right. The key fob will open the door. Please be aware that the pool is open from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm and is closed on Mondays for cleaning from 9:00 to 4:00. Access to the pool or other facilities are not guaranteed. No refunds will be issued if the facilities are unavailable during your stay. Across the Lakeside Drive, is a lovely private walking path around the two small lakes. It is a wonderful place for a morning jog or relaxing evening walk to unwind. Across the courtyard is coin-operated laundry facility for your use. It is open from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. The key fob will give you access.Please be aware that the condo is located on the third floor of the complex. There is no elevator and is not handicapped accessible.
