"Outstanding hotel with the best service! Excellent value for families. Good food, great bathroom facilities, comfy beds. Most of all the staff are so helpful! On the high street so close to all shops and restaurants. Very close to Guildford where lots to do, the museum of rural life, the arboretum."

"The setting is beautiful and the perfect place to relax with friends. I asked for boules for the boules pit and they found them, meaning we could have a lovely relaxing day on the lawn. The only thing I felt was that as we had arrived the day after a wedding, maybe they need to employ more people to clean the rooms knowing how busy they would be. Also have more people on the desk for checkout after a wedding."

"My husband and I stopped here by chance and it did not disappoint. The pleasant manageress found us a table in an already full restaurant. Food was exquisite, service excellent and a great selection on Ales. A real gem in a beautiful village. Well worth a visit"

"Having given the owner of this awful place plenty of time to issue a refund…several months in fact….I have taken to writing a bad review. This place was terrible… nobody here when we arrived, owner and his son finally turned up they were rude and had clearly been drinking!! Not an issue except the owner was driving! Shown to room it was filthy with stuff left from previous guests, dusty and needed updating. Breakfast only available to owners convenience and had to share a bathroom which is not great. Felt like we had moved into a house share rather than booking a relaxing night away! Have requested refund multiple times including in person before we left but didn’t argue our point as there were several of the sons mates there and we felt threatened! All emails ignored! Needless to say would never stay again and would advise anyone else to avoid!!"
