Our stay at Borgo Giallonardo was one of the highlights of our 18-day trip to Sicily. The service was outstanding and the food was exceptional, we ate there 3 out of the 4 nights. The design of the property is exquisite, combining traditional accents with a fresh modern twist. Our suite was comfortable, spacious, quiet and well appointed, by far the nicest accommodations we had during our time in Sicily. The location is an oasis of olive trees and grape vines, all which are highlighted at the restaurant. We used it as our base to explore the area, and felt compelled to take some time to enjoy the resort-like feel and beautiful view of the hills and the mediterranean. IMO, it deserves more than 3 stars. We would go back in a heart beat!

We love, love, loved our stay here! The setting is absolutely dreamy - the grounds are immaculate, the food is excellent and, of course, their wine is divine. We stayed in the wonderfully spacious Olive suite which has 2 floors and would be perfect for a family of 4. It has its very own large patio with an unexpected sea view. My husband and I chose this beautiful property as our base to visit the Valley of the Temples and Scala dei Turchi - the location was perfect. We loved spending our afternoon by the stunning pool after a day of exploring. My only regret is that we only booked 2 nights. Will definitely be back.

Here's the English translation: Very nice rooms in a very well-maintained facility. Beautiful and well kept pool area and very friendly staff. The breakfast and dinner were also very good. We really enjoyed our stay there and would book this hotel again.

We stayed 2 nights. Room was very spacious and comfortable. The mansion is nicely located amidst an olive-tree garden. Lovely swimming-pool with super sunset-cocktails. Breakfast buffet very nice, better than what you usually get in this region. We had finer once; setting is amazing but the food itself was not matching the setting; not bad at all, but you might expect more. Staff is very friendly and helpful. One negative point; we found 2 dirty laundry bags of the previous guests in our cupboard; in se not a big deal, but I expected a small compensation (free drink?) when handing them over at the reception.

The location is stunning and easy to locate from the coast road, we stayed one night and 72 hours later just about recovering from the worst food poisoning we suffered in years, I understand it happens in places at some time, but what I really don't expect is the owner to then say "to much wine" shrug it off and charge you for the damn meal, the food issue I can live with the attitude is one to avoid.

We checked into Giallonardo on our Sicily Road trip in June 2022. The staff was friendly, but there was an odd sense dissatisfaction in the air, allready upon arrival. We were shown our ‘Classic Room’, which resembled more of a cabin than a room. ‘Well it’s just for sleeping’, we were told. Not very helpful, but since all other rooms were taken, we settled in. Unfortunately the room is right next to the kitchen and the clattering of dishes, the humming of machines will prevent you from rest or sleep until kitchen is done. Yes, they have other rooms, but all in all.. it was just not an inviting experience. Our agent reacted quickly and booked us into another guest house (see later review). If you are looking for a GREAT place to stay, choose NOT the classic room at Giallonardo. Having said this.. the staff was understanding and reacted well when we left. Breakfast was good and the location is nice, too. The place just did not feel right for us

Magnifique petit domaine au milieu des oliviers, calme, magnifique piscine (non chauffée), beau jardin et belle bâtisse. Une dizaine de chambres au maximum, très belle décoration, belle superficie, terrasse individuelle, bel équipement, très bonne literie. Accueil et service à la fois discrets et attentionnés. Restauration de qualité : de la vraie cuisine, bien réalisée, une huile d’olive maison excellente, un vin du domaine (blanc, cépage Grillo) bien plus convainquant que ceux que nous avions goûtés par ailleurs. Petit-déjeuner bon, simple et fait maison.
