"We stayed here for Bike Week. While checking in on July 9, 2025. We had the cash for our stay and wanted to use our credit card for the security deposit. The woman at the desk said we can’t pay cash at checkin. This hotel charges your card the full amount and you can pay with cash at checkout. Then they reverse the charge on your card. We could not convince her we had the cash and wanted to use our card for security deposit. This is ridiculous. She added our sister hotel lets you pay upfront with cash but this one does not. I’m pretty sure a business cannot refuse cash but they did. This policy has to be changed. You can’t tie up people’s money like this and expect people to be happy with it."

"The inn is about a 10 minute walk from the main part of town which puts it close enough to freely walk wherever you need to go, but far enough to be quiet and calm. The house is gorgeous, the staff are kind, and the food is delicious. They also have a house blend coffee that rocks."

"Perfect location with parking, within easy walking or driving distance of everything Gettysburg has to offer. Our room was stunning, comfortable, and accommodating for someone needing ADA support. Laura looked radiant in period clothing and added charm to the experience, and Ron and Laura provided a delicious breakfast along with an informative Civil War history presentation that made our stay even more memorable. The home was gorgeous, impeccably maintained, and spotless, with a peaceful atmosphere that made for a relaxing getaway. Ron and Laura’s warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail truly made us feel welcome. We will definitely be returning. Thank you, Ron and Laura, for a wonderful stay and for helping make this trip so special even while we had to deal with illness. Much needed getaway."
