This hotel is ideally located in the heart of Genoa. It is close to the train station, shopping, restaurants, bus lines, etc. Located on the 5th floor, it might be challenging to reach as there is only one, small elevator. If you have a lot of luggage, you could be in trouble. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. There is a tiny fridge, tv and a communal dining room. There is 24-hour check in and the rooms lock with a regular key. The wifi worked splendidly. This is a no-frills hotel in a great location. There was a constant odor of either a sewer or perhaps garbage from Il Mercato Orientale coming through my open window which I left open for some fresh air. There was no fresh air :) I would definitely stay here again.

I tried really hard to find some positives to talk about as I don’t particularly enjoy complaining about what could be someone’s livelihood. However, after consideration there were simply not enough positives to outweigh the vast range of negatives. Positives: Location Negatives: Difficult to find - no directions provided Smell - the whole place stinks of stale smoke - the reception staff clearly smoke in a room and it’s quite foul and permeates throughout the place Staff - I found the staff, particularly the old man quite overbearing. He was very loud - with paper thin walls you could hear him constantly. He also seemed to shout for no reason which was quite annoying - even the first time I entered for apparently ringing the bell too loud - something I press from outside which I have no control over. He also followed me to the lift once to check who I was when leaving for dinner - very odd The room - bedding was old and worn. The room was not particularly clean - i stepped on someone’s toenail which was really foul The bathroom - no door just some folding rubbish so little privacy Toiletries - I had to go and ask for extra hair product and toilet roll. No one checks despite me being there for a few days. When provided with 10ml of shampoo I’d have had to use 2.5 with each shower. Hardly possible Its cheap so I suppose I could cope with some things, but the above are things I’d expect from the cheapest of hostels and not a hotel. I couldn’t wait to leave.

Ci siamo trovati malissimo avevamo prenotato 3 stanze una più sporca dell’altra assurdo davvero e in più la signora alla reception si è messa ad urlarci contro dicendoci di andare perché avevano rotto con le nostre domande non ci era mai capitato di essere “ accolti così” non torneremo non consigliato

PICCOLO ALBERGO IN CENTRO A GENOVA, MOLTO ACCOGLIENTE, IL PERSONALE E SOPRATTUTTO IL TITOLARE E' STATO MOLTO AFFABILE IN TUTTO SPECIALMENTE PER IL FATTO CHE HO PROBLEMI A CAMMINARE, UNICA PECCA IL 5°PIANO DI UN BELLISSIMO PALAZZO CHE PERO' SE L'ASCENSORE NON FUNZIONA (MI E' CAPITATO PURTROPPO) FARE 5 RAMPE DI SCALE LUNGHISSIME E' UNA TORTURA. APPENA POSSO CI RITORNERO' SICURAMENTE.

Buonasera purtroppo io e la mia fidanzata non riusciamo a dare più di una stella I letti erano molto scomodi , l’arredamento e davvero antico e sembra polveroso la colazione ci è sembrata molto umile fette biscottate ecc niente di speciale purtroppo ci siamo svegliati con un male alla schiena e in stanza faceva anche caldo non mi immagino tra qualche mese i mobili completamente traballanti

Un rumore assurdo! Sono stata 3 notti per un importante riunione di lavoro a seguito delle elezioni comunali ma davvero non ho dormito neanche una notte un chiasso e il vicolo dove si trova questo hotel e davvero pericolosa dopo la prima notte ho chiesto gentilmente di emettermi il rimborso ma mi è stato detto di no tramite Booking non consigliato!
