This hotel was the least expensive place we stayed in, we arrived late afternoon and left at 5.30am to go whale watching. The rooms are small as was the ensuite with shower doors more akin to a front door! Staff were very helpful nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant is situated on the top floor overlooking Galle. Food was good. Value for money this boutique hotel was ok

We had an amazing experience at this place. The staff took very good care of us, both with transportation and other help we needed. The rooms were clean and cosy, the food was also excellent. We ended up eating almost every meal at the lodge because it was so good. We enjoyed staying at the lodge whole days because it was so good, especially the pool area. Other than that we had an amazing massage and also a river cruise starting from the hotel. This place is a must to stay at if you visiting Sri Lanka.

My stay at The Heritage Hotel Galle Fort was remarkable, with its fantastic location being a highlight. Nestled conveniently close to a variety of restaurants and shops, it offers the ease of exploring Galle's vibrant culture right at your doorstep. The proximity to the iconic lighthouse and the beaches, just a short walk away, adds to the charm of the hotel. Starting the day with the wonderful breakfast options available was a delight. Moreover, the professionalism of the staff was commendable; they were attentive and ensured a seamless experience throughout my stay. The combination of location, service, and comfort makes The Heritage Hotel a place I would gladly choose again for future visits to Galle.
