"The hotel is clean and well-maintained. The rooms are fragrant and tastefully furnished, cleaned daily, and equipped with every comfort (fully functional and quiet air conditioning, TV, safe, mini-fridge, hairdryer, double pillow/blanket, and toiletries). From what we've seen, the staff is entirely female, and each one is better than the last! Their helpfulness, patience, and kindness are rare these days. Breakfast is served a la carte (except for toast, biscuits, cereals, and jams/Nutella, which are served buffet style) and you can choose two dishes (such as eggs, toast, friselle, croissants, cakes, pasticciotto, yogurt, fruit salad, etc.) plus a drink (juice, coffee, cappuccino, etc.). We also prefer buffet breakfasts, but you certainly won't leave hungry! The hotel has a bar/tobacconist and a restaurant, which we tried a couple of evenings (€25 per person for a full menu) and must say we were very satisfied. They also offer half-board options for those who prefer to dine on-site. Other restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. Free private parking is available, locked and fenced overnight for added security. The beaches on the Ionian coast of Salento are quite close, a 15- to 30-minute drive away, and the Adriatic coast is about 40 minutes away. We highly recommend it for a truly home-away-from-home experience!"
