A small but full kitchen with all your necessary items. 1 Full bed, 1 queen bed, a blow up queen mattress and even a crib, it's perfect for families or friends seeking a nice getaway. This area in our Cabin features WiFi, TV, electric fireplace, washing machine and dryer, AC and heating for your convenience. The bathroom includes a shower and a hair dryer. You will have your own private patio with a small table and chairs and 2 rocking chairs for your enjoyment. Extra fold out chairs are available. River Watch is a riverfront two story home on the banks of the Cheat River in Macomber, WV. River Watch is on the Cheat River Water Trail, which runs from Hendricks, WV to Rowlesburg, WV.. This part of the Cheat River is a gentle section of the river, safe enough for beginning paddlers with kayaks, canoes, paddle boards or rafts, which winds through some of the most beautiful country in W.Va. The house has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a modern open floor plan combining kitchen and living room. River Watch also has decks around the entire house with a privacy deck below to watch the river and wildlife, there is also an outside shower. It also has a full basement garage, with washer, dryer and beverage fridge. There is approx. 1 acre of yard and 150' of river frontage. There is also a takeout for paddlers right in front of the house. Centrally located in the Potomac Highlands, River Watch is 35 minutes from Thomas/Davis/Blackwater Falls, 30 minutes from the Wisp Ski Resort,45 minutes from Timberline Ski Resort,25 minutes from Oakland MD, 10 minutes from Cathedral State Park. For all it's convenience however, River Watch is all about the Cheat River. There are multiple floats and shuttles close to River Watch, with two outfitters Blackwater Outdoor Adventures in St. George is just 15 minutes away and offers equipment rentals and shuttles. Alpine Lakeside Manor is a beautiful, historic 1920s hunting cabin—the first one built at Alpine Lake. This home is actually the closest to the lake because it was built before the zoning requirements mandated homes to be a certain distance from the water. Staying at this home feels like stepping back in time. The beautiful, antique décor will keep you feeling as if you've traveled back in time throughout your entire stay. This home comfortably sleeps 9 (11 w/pull out sofa in master) with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms: Main floor: King-size bed and queen bed, full size sofa bed in master Second floor: Two full beds and one twin bed When you enter this beautiful cabin, you’re greeted by the inviting living room with plenty of seating to enjoy the fire with friends and family. Off to the side, you'll find the amazing master suite, which includes a king-size bed, an attached bath with a large whirlpool tub, and its own sitting area. There’s even a desk facing the lake, perfect for when you need to plug into the real world for a bit. (Please note: No fires are permitted in the fireplaces at this time. Fires made will result in a damage fee of $250.) On the main floor, you’ll also find another bedroom with a queen bed, two full baths, and a laundry room. Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms with easy access from either side. These rooms feature two full beds and one twin bed. 📅 Important Info Before You Book: Age Requirement: Minimum age of 23 years required, and the guest must be present for the entire stay. A driver's license will be required at the time of booking. Failure to meet this minimum age requirement upon check-in will result in eviction, with no refund for the entire stay. Smoking Policy: No smoking of any kind is permitted. If any signs of smoking or vaping are documented, the renter agrees to pay a $200.00 penalty fee. Pet Policy: This property is NOT pet-friendly.
