호텔 라 피네타 알 마레

We have been visiting FDM for the past 8 years and this is the worst hotel that we stayed in. The rooms are very dated, beds very small, closet is old and smelly and management is totally unresponsive. We stayed for 12 days and asked for a room change management was totally not cooperative and offered us only an option of a room without a window! When I told the lady in charge that the room has no window… she came back with the “but there is a door” !!!! For the total time we stayed in the hotel, there were multiple chances for the mgmnt to change our room as their average stay for their clientele is probably 3-5 days…. But they never did. We are seasoned travelers and we never really had an experience as bad as this. We asked to walk out and they wanted to charge us euro 750 after we stayed 50 percent of the time. There was no way that we could deal with this crappy management. Never again. Posted pictures so you could see for your self!

We have been stying in Hotel La Pineta al Mare over the last 2 weeks with my husband and 3-year old boy. The location is absolutely great, few steps from the seaside, with plenty of services nearby. The rooms are brand new, with a lovely view from the balcony, and exceedingly cleaned every day. Breakfast is delicious and with a wide choice. But more importantly, the owner, Ilenia, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful and made our staying special. Of note, they made everything to accomodate our needs with the baby. If you want to feel like home in Forte dei Marmi, I would definitely recommend La Pineta al Mare!
