"The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot but there weren’t any towels racks for towels and nowhere to hang clothes. The bathroom sink was continually dripping. There was a microwave and cutlery but no plates or washing up liquid. Reception was rarely manned. You couldn’t find anyone to speak to about the issues. On my last morning I met a man who may have been the Owner or Manager. When I voiced my concerns he was apologetic but offered no recompense. A total lack of empathy because they were nearly 100% booked with workers. I paid $145 for an unrenovated room because I requested a ground floor room. The renovated rooms upstairs were much nicer and the same price. Very noisy as near the Highway. Stay here if desperate"

"The room was very clean and smelled so nice. . The lady was super friendly and helpful. Parking is sufficient and outside our room. Only 2-1 m access to parking area though Nice walk to various dinner options. Would definitely stay there again"

"Service - Melissa is very cheerful, responsive and helpful. Great customer service. Location and Amenities - On main road out of town heading north, we were relocating to QLD and hauling a trailer; plenty of room in front of the motel to park a boat, caravan, trailer if you are hauling. Right next to the golf club, so perfect for a golf weekend. Rooms - what we would call a typical country town motel; clean, comfortable, providing all the necessary items for an overnight stay or two. Next room had their TV on extraordinarily loud, which we could understand if there are hearing issues. While we could hear the tv initially after turning in for the night about 10.30pm, once their TV was off, we didn't hear a peep out of anyone or any traffic at all. Very quiet. Great value for the cost of the room. The surprise - believe it or not, the sports club bar next door. Doesn't look much but the staff in the kitchen are producing very very nice pub fare. From Melbourne, we are quite food savvy and dine out alot. The hubs is particular about his steak - his words "this steak is probably one of the best steaks I have ever eaten". It was caramelised beautifully, perfectly med rare, good thickness served with pepper sauce, fresh hot crunchy chips and salad. I had the chicken parma - very nice indeed. Same chips and salad. Pepper sauce was excellent with the chips. Would we stay again - definitely! Well done."

"For an overnighter, it was fine. Clean and tidy older style room, small but had everything that was needed for a short stay. Recommended."
