Lovely hotel with very comfortable rooms. Nice breakfasts and very helpful staff. It is on the south side of the river and only a 5 minute walk to the main tourist areas. Close to really nice restaurants and squares that are slightly away from the main touristy area. Highly recommend!

Loved, loved, loved this beautiful boutique hotel. It’s quirky decor, wonderful customer service and location, make this an ideal destination to visit Florence. A 10 minute walk into the centre of Florence whilst being located in a trendy neighbourhood of the City with some great restaurants and shops on it’s doorstep, means it’s ideal after a long day of sightseeing. A vast selection of fresh pastries, meats, fruit and yoghurts and of course excellent coffee were the perfect start to the day. Our bedroom also had a coffee machine and cakes/pastries were available all day in the breakfast area. I would highly recommend this hotel, without hesitation!

This is absolutely a great place to stay. It is just on the other size of river, so it is still close to everywhere but much quieter. The room is big and charming. Bed is comfortable. I didn’t get a chance to check out the breakfast as I normally leave early in the morning before it started. But I did take the advantage the fruit basket at the breakfast area. The owner recommended me the restaurant and made the booking for me where I had the best steak of my life. I don’t have any negative to say about the room and will definitely come back next time.

This place is a hidden gem in one of the best places in Florence! Don’t miss giving it a try! The staff were absolutely fabulous and made my stay so welcoming! I would recommend this place to couples needing a weekend or week away! Truly a relaxing to place to unwind and relax!

This quaint hotel reminded me of a step above a youth hostel. To reach the hotel you have to climb the stairs or take an elevator to get there. There's a reception area where guests can have breakfast and coffee and tea which was a nice touch. The room was small, but the hotel was centrally located close to museums and attractions - but wear your sneakers. This is not a place I would want to stay for more than a day or two as the room was small, and it was hard to find a place to put your things. It was clean, but some of the furniture needed to be repaired (a broken arm on a chair). Also, the day we were leaving, I asked her to call a cab a few hours in advance to bring us to the train station, but the receptionist said we couldn't get a cab due to the marathon in town. I do understand that would cause a delay - but I wished she had explained that to us the night before and asked as a courtesy if we needed a cab the night before. In the end, it wasn't bad rolling our suitcases to the station - advice: make sure you have new suitcases with large rollers.

This beautiful hotel is one of our favorites we’ve ever stayed in! We had the room upstairs and it was so gorgeous and comfortable. David was so welcoming and kind. We absolutely loved everything about this place. It was also right in the city center, easy to walk to historic sites and great local cafes and bars. We hope to stay here again one day!

This is a gem of a small hotel in a wonderful neighborhood that is walkable to all the sights and away from the tourist crowds. It is close to wonderful restaurants, great shopping and the small team at the front desk was so very helpful with taxis and suggestions. We can't wait to return.
