What a friendly and clean hotel! Convenient, excellent continental breakfast (even included eggs!), and superb staff to help with everything. Miguele, at the front desk was especially helpful with our entire 3 day stay. Parking was a big bonus, not usually included in this price range.

The hotel is within walking distance from the Cathedral/ historical city. The hotel has parking space available that needs to be booked in advance. We had big room with view on the garden. It was quite, nice and clean. The room we had has also kitchenette. If next time in Florence I will first try to book room in this hotel.

Un hotel moderno un po' freddo . Servizi pressoché insistenti tutto distributori automatici .cose in vendita da scaldare in microonde nella sala di ingresso. Niente chiave..solo un codice numerico camera. Colazione senza decaffeinato..c'è solo.quello che fornisce un dispenser elettronico e il deka non è previsto. Ha cmq un suo perché..è pulito, veloce, adatto ad una clientela giovane e aitonoma

우리는 7월 초에 멋진 숙박을 했습니다. 우리 방은 기후 조절이 되어 더위에 매우 도움이 되었습니다. 매력적인 방, 매우 깨끗하고 조용합니다. 사랑스럽고 매우 도움이되는 직원은 체크인을 매우 쉽게 만들고 많은 권장 사항을 제공했습니다. 훌륭한 레스토랑과 커피 숍과 가까운 훌륭한 위치. 다시 여기에 머물기를 기대합니다!

우리는 4월에 3박을 머물렀고 호텔은 깨끗하고 편리하고 조용하고 편안했습니다. 직원들은 예외 없이 사랑스러웠습니다. 프론트 데스크에서 아침 식사 직원 및 룸 서비스에 이르기까지 모든 사람들은 친절하고 도움이되어 우리를 매우 환영한다고 느끼게했습니다. 우리 방은 즐거운 놀라움이었던 발코니가 있는 호텔 뒤편(204)에 있었습니다. 다른 숙소 뒤편이 내려다보여서 특별한 전망은 없었지만 멋지고 편안했고 매우 조용했습니다. 독점적으로 예약할 수 있는 스파가 있습니다. 이것은 때때로 거래에 포함되지만 그렇지 않으면 50분 동안 각각 25유로이며 그만한 가치가 있습니다. 옥상에서의 전망은 훌륭하며 리셉션 바에서 음료를 마시며 거기까지 가져갈 수도 있고 와인 한 병을 가져갈 수도 있습니다! 주로 패스트리, 과일 및 고기를 중심으로 아침 식사 센터. 계란과 베이컨의 ”뜨거운” 옵션이 있지만 기껏해야 따뜻합니다. 그러나 패스트리는 매우 훌륭하고 충분합니다. 공항에서 호텔까지 경험한 가장 편리한 여행이기도 합니다! 공항에서 나와 좌회전하여 약 1 분 거리에 트램 정류장까지 걸어갑니다. We come every year, for good reason. For our family it works as each room is at minimum a small suite. The people who work here are the friendliest and most accommodating of any hotel I stay at. The AC was great this year as it was slightly hotter than normal in July. The pool is amazing especially as the temperature was high, providing for a great escape after going downtown. The restaurant and wait staff are amazing! Highly recommend for anyone who does not want to sleep downtown but visit during the day.

This is a lovely, clean hotel with good facilities and location and an excellent breakfast. It has a very traditional decor, with a modern bathroom. Our room was pleasant enough but the window faced a wall and had huge shutters which we couldn't open. Hence, there was hardly any natural light in the room. I also found the staff a bit unfriendly, especially at the reception desk. There was no greeting if you walked past, and they did seem slightly condescending - not the usual friendliness you would expect on a reception desk. The staff at breakfast were much nicer. I liked this hotel, but a little friendliness and a smile go a long way and would have enhanced our stay.

If you are coming to Florence (Firenze) via the train, staying at the Hotel Mercure Firenze Centro is a good choice as it is located just about a block away. It maybe a bit tricky to locate it the sign is not very apparent and is somewhat small. It is more visible from across the street. There is also a side entrance .When we were there in July 2022, they had a mandatory appointment time to reserve for the continental breakfast each morning starting at 7a.m. to avoid overcrowding and social distancing. Hotel Mercure Firenze Centro is a very convenient 10 minute walk to the Duomo. The service was very efficient at check in and they were very more than welcome to store our luggage as check in time wasn't until after 4p.m. The rooms are very huge and daily room service was good.

I am not writing this type of reviews often, but unfortunately this time I have to in order to reflect the reality about this hotel. Prior to this hotel we stayed at another hotel in Rome also 4-star that we really enjoyed (price level and distance from city center was similar). Firstly, I would like to point out that this hotel, even though it has 4 stars, cannot be considered to be a European-level 4-star hotel at all, at maximum a refurbished 3-star hotel. Given the price and its location, I would like to tell you straight, it is quite expensive for what you get, especially given the further circumstances described below. Secondly, I have not read many negative reviews regarding the noise level, but would like to shed some light on that. Even though we asked for a quiet room, we got the room facing the hotel parking and front road. I cannot say that there was a lot of noise from the road, but you could definitely hear cars from the road. But the biggest problem is the noise insultaion, or more precisely its complete absence. We could hear our neighbours talking in the other room like they were in our room. Our neighbours were awake until late night and we could hear them receiving messages while chatting on the phone and it seemed like the phone was vibrating each time near your ear. There was also noise from outside and other neighbours (it was partially not clear where it was coming from), so overall an awful experience also given the fact that each room has roller blinds and some people are using them at night and each time you can hear the mechanism working (it is quite loud). When people flush in other rooms, it sounds like it starts raining heavily. To sum up, insulation is really bad. Thirdly, the room was furbished at the level of refurbished 3-star hotel, the old hairdriers from the 20th century, only one card key, thus you cannot leave the AC on when you leave the room. Room was not ventilated at all once we arrived, so it was very hot to sleep and smell was not very pleasant. Breakfast at the level of 3-star hotel maximum and they do not let people finish their breakfast telling at 9:55am that you have to leave in 5 minutes since the breakfast time ends at 10am. As a cherry on the tart, when we were leaving we were told that the water in the room was not complimentary when we arrived, even though we did not found anywhere information with pricing of water in the room. When I asked where we could find price list for water in the room, as I belive it should be clearly placed in a visible spot, the person at reception firstly insulted us in Italian (not knowing that we speak Italian) and then just answered arrogantly ”it is in the room”, showing that he does not want to speak with us. Unbelievable and unacceptable behaviour from staff, you are paying them for being treated in such a manner... Overall, I understand that Florence is an expensive and crowded city, but in this instance when we unfortunately had only extremely negativ
