Beautiful riad hotel in the Medina. Lovely decorations and staff. WiFi was quite slow.

Tucked away in the labyrinth alleys of the Medina, Riad Algila transports one into a world of tranquility & elegance. The riad's meticulously adorned courtyard with gentle tricking of water from the fountain, swaying green trees and intricate tile work serves as a peaceful sanctuary from the bustling city outside. Our 2 day stay was nothing short of enchanting. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, adorned with traditional Moroccan decor with modern amenities, provided a luxurious retreat after a day of exploration. The staff always attentive with insightful recommendations, made all the difference to our stay. Riad Algila truly embodies the essence of Moroccan hospitality offering a respite of calm and beauty amidst the vibrant tapestry of Fes.

We visited recently as part of my 50th birthday celebrations for a couple of nights! We would highly recommend this Riad for the warmth, friendliness of staff. The property itself is breathtakingly beautiful, like stepping back in time. The staff do a lot in maintaining a great atmosphere. They were so helpful they even helped transport our luggage to our next Riad at the other end of Fez. It was during Ramadan too making the service even more impressive. There were a couple of bumps along the way including a miscommunication regarding the rooftop and no birthday acknowledgement or surprise to my knowledge even though it was my 50th birthday but the location, beauty and good intentions of the staff made up for those disappointments. A lovely start to our trip to Fez! Also beware that taxi drivers may not be familiar with the location so you should liaise with the riad to ensure a stress free arrival even if you have paid for a transfer Moroccans have very patchy knowledge of what Riads are in Fez even the famous ones!

Beautiful Riad in Fes Medina. Room clean and comfortable, and luxurious spaces around the Riad to sit. Welcome mint tea on arrival. Food very good. Great breakfast on roof patio. Had a beautiful meal one evening by the pool. Staff very helpful and friendly and overall service great.

We had a wonderful time, the Riad is beautiful, in a perfect location to visit Fes Medina and all the staff has been extremely kind and professional. Breakfast can be consumed on the rooftop enjoying a beautiful city view. Highly recommended and looking forward to come back again in the future. Andrea

Beautiful riad, clean, quiet, very comfortable rooms, would definitely recommend. Breakfast was good too (meat-free). Staff were so helpful - Zouhair on reception was fun & very kind & informative; others too whose names I have forgotten. Note that the hotel is up an alley with steps! (Lots of riads/hotels in Fez are tucked away down allies)
