"Picked out this place as part of a longer road trip. You can tell it’s an older place but the inside of the rooms were very well decorated and clean. Kinda like a boutique hotel. If I pass through this area again, I’d definitely want to stay here again."

"Great facility, wide variety of options, tents, RV sites and different sizes of cabins, with many at cheaper rates that nearby hotels. Convenient location, friendly helpful staff. Cabins were supplied well, clean and comfortable, with heat and/or AC as options. We love Escalante and all it has to offer, including this facility. Highly recommended, we'll be back !"

"We have come to Escalate every year for 20 years and always stay at Prospector Inn. This family owned motel is always clean, staff are always friendly and helpful and its location is the best for exploring the Escalante Staircase. This year we were here over Thanksgiving. Jackie , our front desk hostess, cooked a full blown Thanksgiving dinner for her staff and invited any guests as they came in. What a treat and boy what a great cook!!! This made for a most memorable Thanksgiving!!"
